I think there's something quite obnoxious about 'clanker'.

Mainly because 'clanker' is supposed to be a slur, but it's a slur against AI, so it's completely toothless and isn't really offensive to anybody in any way, and in my experience, it tends to be most regularly used by the sort of ballless AI Derangement Syndrome-having BlueSky leftoids who'd seemingly literally rather murder their entire families than ever use an evil, racist naughty no-no word in any other context. I would have a lot more respect for people using a term like that against AI if it was 'robonigger' or something like that, but that might be actually edgy and we can't have our slurs hurting people's feelings. That'd be racist!

It's a bit like that cringey period people went through where they would be openly prejudiced, but only against certain, approved groups that it was OK to be prejudiced against (all of whom were white Europeans, interestingly enough) - "Ew, the Br*t*sh!" "You're literally Italian," "Didn't ask, also you're French," - only it's arguably even worse.

It also makes you sound like a big fucking dork who plays Fallout or watches Star Wars or whateverthefuck.

I was filling out a survey and one of the questions was if I had been, “justice impacted.”

If I had to guess, this sounds like a dumb euphemism for convicted of a crime/imprisoned.

With so many people not knowing how to socially interact offline good communities are becoming fewer and farther between. Now, it seems like any sort of affiliated group is considered a community even if they really aren't.

What little I've seen "Friendsgiving" used makes me believe it's the idea Thanksgiving should be celebrated with friends instead of being a mandatory family holiday. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if the SJW crowd uses the term because Thanksgiving is a celebration of colonizing, oppression, or some other triggering event for them to acknowledge.

Whether ITT or elsewhere, I've lamented how these euphemisms make it hard to have a normal conversation. Talking about innocuous items such as grapes or PDF files are now used to label people as sexual deviants instead of discussion of everyday items.

Unc has always been nigger slang. You can tell because it's short for uncle and niggers can only pronounce the first half of words because they are lazy and stupid.
