that's not what happened. that guy killed someone, everyone else was firing their gun. he's saying that he fired it into the air as the reason he had GSR it seems like. an excuse for why his rifle was fired. note how it talks about how the cop says lots of people were firing their gun in the air and only one person was murdered. there's also the part about being told to 'put the rifle down' multiple times. that dude killed somebody, and he was being deported, and then ICE had to ice him, is the best i can figure out.

So instead of him deserving it, he REALLY deserved it

Cops are (rightfully) terrified of being charged with murder for doing their jobs or being sued for "excessive force" and having their departments yeet their qualified immunity out from under them to leave them dangling in the wind in court. I imagine for now the feds are in the same boat, though at least the administration is loudly signaling it's got their back in full. I'm sure they're waiting a bit to see whether Blockade Karen's death will result in charges against any agents (or litigation) and how the administration reacts before they make any concrete decisions on whether it's "gloves off" time.

Though they are being more aggressive with arrests these past few days, so perhaps privately they've been seeing some reliable reassurance they won't be left out to dry.

If any cop is more terrified of killing a crazy person using their vehicle as a weapon than of someone dying or getting seriously hurt on their watch, then they're in the wrong fucking job.
Doubly so for an ICE agent during this administration.

Can you jam GPS signals? Because these organized anti-American terrorists have been shown having 1-2 laptops in their car organizing GPS tracking of the ICE operations. A quick signal jam to prevent them from reaching out to the Cellphone towers + blocking GPS signals would do wonders.

Pretty easily, from my experience. You used to be able to buy GPS jammers off ebay and AliExpress. A friend of mine gave me one. I tested it out, and my phone indeed lost its GPS fix. A legal one intended for law-enforcement purposes would probably be a bit more sophisticated than a half-assed oscillator into a half-assed amplifier into half-assed antenna, though.
