Alright I've seen these retarded euro talking points on ice out in the wild. Frankly amazes me how badly they misread the situation.

you're making the mistake of thinking these types are genuine and honest about their beliefs.
when they say "you don't need ICE" they want you to think that they are saying "you don't need ICE to deport illegals because that can be achieved without ICE too"
what they really want to say is "you don't need ICE do deport illegals because illegals shouldn't be deported at all", but they know that if they state this outright then you will dismiss them for disagreeing on fundamentals.
so they do this rhetorical fuckery where they pretend to agree with your end goal while criticizing your means to achieve that goal. they want you to think that their argument is "yes you can do this, but you should do it some other way because the ICE way is bad"
but if you were to agree with them, get rid of ICE, and come up with another thing to deport illegals, guess what? then they'll immediately switch their criticism from ICE to that other thing and try to make you abandon that as well.
they will continue this forever until eventually you are so frustrated and demoralized that you conclude "we've tried so many ways to deport them and all of them failed, guess we'll just have to give up on deportations and accept them"
the correct response is to never give them an inch in the first place. disregard their whining and complaining, it's not coming from a place of genuine concern, it is a malicious attempt at manipulating you into giving up.
