The disdain in his voice towards Pigger Tits is captivating. Some of these stories were also new to me. One of the absolute worst things about Pat is how stupid he thinks everyone else is to just swallow these bullshit fantasies at face value. Yet he persists and will display no tact in making them remotely believable when he repeats it years later with a few additions. Extremely mentally ill behaviour and why Pat is immortalised as a forever cow.

I didn't fully believe Pat lacked empathy (the ability to adopt and understand someone else's view, not the newspeak "being nice") until I read this review. I thought he was simply pigheaded, but when given a pen and paper and the ability to make characters, he just copies himself. Smug, sarcastic, drinking, eating, condescending (seriously why does Harris say "oh just freak out and blow your brains out in your flat like every other veteran please!"?), generally just unlikeable. To him, this is how people should behave to be considered normal adults. Anyone else is infantile (BABY CHIIIILD!) or a cuck bitch like the only male of the strike team in the story that gets killed instantly. Oh, don't forget atheist, I wonder if the "snap and spit" ritual his girlboss character does in lieu of prayer is something he does when he steps out to go get drunk?
