The price of oil controls the price of literally everything else. Even the price of water is subject to the price of oil, and it will continue to be until we develop nuclear-powered cars.
Sadly, environmentalists are doing everything in their power to stifle research into that.

I used to work with a Venezuelan lady. Older, she got out and hated it. Some family was there still. She also didn't Trump, this was back in 2016-2017. I gotta wonder what she thinks now? She REALLY hated the Commies though. She talked about how she used to mule drugs and diamonds.

The dude *actually* did worse shit than what the left ever accused Trump of doing. So of course they're trying to defend him.

I saw some videos on twitter earlier of them running protestors over with those huge armored riot van things.

Again, it makes Russia look bad that the US was able to send helicopters through hot airspace without even getting locked, possibly without Venezuelans even having time to get their MANPADs, because of how many helicopters they themselves lost/are losing in Ukraine. The US has a long history of successfully flying attack helicopters through hot airspace.
Even if a random Venezuelan soldier got their shit together and tried to shoot one down (why the hell would these cowards make themselves into a target?), these craft are equipped with fairly effective IR dazzlers and covered by effective high altitude jamming.

The military and whoever comes out in the next couple days as being "in charge" will clearly be in cahoots with the US. How else does Trump set up the oil operations with a hostile govt/military? If there was any plan at all we're in the kayfabe part where the puppets we leave in charge pretend to oppose us.
 
one of my jewsperg friends is trying to convince me that this was all masterminded by israel because a bunch of jews were happy maduro is fucked.

no one has any answer for why it's not a win for the US first and foremost to kill a socialist narcoterrorist we've been after for a long time. this is the regime change we've wanted in venezuela for decades.
