Honestly, is this a bad idea? We tried funding other opposition groups and its just descended into chaos and then we get bogged down for years with funding NGOs. We propped up Hamid Karzai in Afghanistan for years with funding and millions lost to fraud, same in Vietnam. The US military getting involved and taking over will make it fraud-proof and stabilize the country quickly. We can purge churro loyalists as needed, then hand off to the new government.
