I have to wonder about the teachers at his high school. Obviously they don't have the same responsibility to know a kid's every little twitch like a parent might, but to her immense credit, poet Nikki Giovanni tried really hard to warn the UVA administration about Seung-Hui Cho's creepy-ass behaviors, like bending down in class to look up classmates' skirts. When the admins just kind of said "Yeah, yeah, whatever," Giovanni threatened to quit the whole university (non-USA folks: she is fairly famous among people who like poetry, so this threat carried some weight) if they didn't at minimum remove him from her class, because other people were skipping class to avoid him. So they did that much, but as he was a legal adult, he couldn't be forced into counseling. But you know, she was trying. What about Stair's no-doubt-underpaid teachers? You may have 30 or more people in your class, but if someone is fucked in the brainpan, they do have some tells.
