Skordas was only temporarily his lawyer, but was also tasked with finding death-qualified defense counsel on his behalf. I'm pretty sure he could actually qualify himself if he wanted to, but this is a multiple law firm kind of job.

I just noticed, the PO application was filed on Saturday.



That means all of yesterday's filing flurry happened while Russ knew that it was pending, including his "direct response" to Hardin. Russ did not notify Hardin to stop him from violating the PO, he did not notify the court to have them reign in Hardin, nor did he change his own behavior. Whatever he complained about on Saturday, he continued engaging with on Monday.

Is there such a thing as pre-violating your own prospective protective order against another person?

Oddly, bizarrely, unfortunately, that claim is true due to the fact that the fucking judges have sat on those motions for months and months and months.
