"The American Dream" was coined in 1931 by a man named James Truslow Adams. The Founding Fathers viewed the US as a nation, not a vague idea that anyone can cash in on.
You're too generous to her. She's an anti-American racist, she deserves no correction only insults.
I miss when stories could take themselves seriously.
I miss when we didn’t have characters that’s only reason for existing was to be a quirky Chungus funny man
I miss when villains could be actual villains and be intimating yet somewhat sympathetic but still needed to be stopped
I miss death meaning and not immediately being reversed
I miss when we could have characters that were actual heroes.
I miss when writers didn't feel the need to put in out of place Reddit humor ever 5 minutes
I miss when writers didn’t need to over-explain every single bit of exposition.
I miss when stories could just let a scene play out with no add bullshit needed
I miss sincerity, I miss it so much
Reddit writing has done ireaparible amounts of damage to the concept of writing that it may take decades to fully recover.
A lot of this comes from this focus of western academics on subtext. Since about the 1910s, academics find prestige in finding esoteric meanings in stories. "You thought that character killed his father because he was abused? That's surface level, it's actually commentary on the abusive nature of masculinity!", stuff like that. Earnestness can be appreciated by children, therefore it must be unintelligent. I hate it so much.
I knew you were a /lit/fag! I was too, despite my poor use of commas, constant run-on sentences, and generally poor prose. I wonder if we've called each other fags in another life?
Not only that but another inconvenient fact that the loony left leaves out about Indians is that certain tribes, especially the Apaches and Comanches were roaming the land nomad style tearing mother fuckers UP before the white man ever stepped foot on this land. They were warmongers who were raping, killing and pillaging long before the Europeans came over and civilized them. They were problematic to the people who lived in America before white people ever set foot in America.
I mean hell, the Pawnees aligned themselves with the American military so that they would take out the Sioux. They actually protected us constructing the railroads in exchange for us collecting Sioux souls for them.
I'm not trying to play revisionist historian here. Was the white man brutal? Fuck yes we were, but people need to realize that our brutality stemmed from the fact that women and children weren't off the table, and that was something that we had rarely experienced before.
You're going into a fight as a civilized white man expecting men to fight men and that at the very least the children would be left alone, and you come back to your cabin out on the prairie and your children have been tortured and mutilated?
I can see why those settlers were out smashing skulls and scalping injuns. If anything, we didn't fuck them up enough.
I've had a theory that encounters with the Injuns was important to reinforcing the Old Testament, fire-and-brimstone Protestantism of the settlers. They pretty much were neo-Canaanites, after all.

Also if anyone has doubts about the right of America to conquest the west, read "Empire of the Summer Moon". It'll clear those doubts up lickety-split.
Fuck optics. Actual wins are superior. Optics won't matter once the legal damage gets undone and democrat strangleholds on government are dismantled.
It's particularly annoying that they shart about optics, when optics are so blatantly controlled by the enemy. They are literally saying "we need the enemy propaganda to portray us positively!"
I KNEW THEY WERE CONNECTED TO ALLENDE! Who was it who gaslighted me on that?
Is that a Jap? What the fuck?

More legal news

Derek Chauvin has launch another bid to have his conviction overturned. Citing the many, many, many, fuck up, biases and out right lies told by both the Judge, the Prosecutor and the state witnesses. Especially the paid for doctors who made their claims based off of only viewing the video evidence...cuz I guess they're just that good they can tell someone definitely wasn't having a heart attack while overdosing on Fent by just watching some shaky phone video and that the doctors who actually treated St. Floyd at the ER for a STEMI and Overdose AND the doctor who did the autopsy report was also just wrong in ruling it a heart attack even though examination showed St. Floyd's arteries were more clogged then a Pop-Eye's on 2 for 1 day.

And how Chauvin's boss sure didn't toss him under the bus by lying to the court to save his own ass despite several current police offers testify that the hold used was typical and used often by the city cops. But whut ever, we all know that Chauvin was never going to walk away while the niggers were burning down cities and strategically acquiring new Nike's.

Anyway...here's to hoping that this judge isn't as obviously biased as the last 3.

A brief AI breakdown:

Key Arguments in the 2025 Petition

The petition, a 71-page memorandum, challenges the original verdict on several grounds:

  • Faulty Medical Testimony: The filing claims that expert witnesses for the state provided flawed testimony regarding the cause of George Floyd's death. It argues that these physicians relied excessively on video evidence rather than strict medical or anatomical findings, and that their conclusions (asphyxiation) contradicted the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's autopsy report, which cited "cardiopulmonary arrest" as the cause of death.
  • Misrepresented Police Training: The document asserts that testimony presented during the trial regarding Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) training and tactics was inaccurate. It claims that the "knee-to-neck" restraint technique used was, in fact, consistent with MPD policy and training at the time, a point which police officials allegedly lied about during the trial.
  • Jury Instruction Errors: Chauvin's attorney argues that the jury instructions mischaracterized the law, which violated his right to due process.
  • Trial Misconduct: The petition generally alleges prosecutorial and trial misconduct contributed to an unfair trial, removed from the "hysteria of the day

Man this shit is bleak, I know you guys dont like to hear the bad news but im not making any of it up

in the usa in the last 40 odd years we have gone from,

THOUSANDS of seed companies to 3
46 fertilizer firms into 4
2 companies make farm equipment

all the "Trump farmer bailout money" goes to the these companies as they have so much control over the price they put all small farmers into debt, thats what the relief money is for, if we dont give it to them almost all small farmers in America would go bankrupt almost immediately

please just watch this quick short on it, the admitatly lib source gets a real farmer to talk on the issue and the good ole boy is very well spoken on the problem.

I love that the first response you got was "don't do it". For being a right wing hate site, there sure is a lot of solid, healthy advice given out.
We are frens here :heart-full:

even though examination showed St. Floyd's arteries were more clogged then a Pop-Eye's on 2 for 1 day.
I once, clearing a floor drain in a Popeyes kitchen, dragged a whole ass raw chicken tender out. Manager Shaniqua (she was actually a nice lady) told us "That's not chicken that's a chunk of fat." Okay, Shaniqua, here's the invoice.

Am I imagining things, or does it seem like a ton of republicans on all levels are quitting? Mayors, senators, governors, etc. Makes no sense because "our" side is winning. It feels like they're giving up their positions to give democrats a chance to grab it.

It is my dream to make a film that is filled to the brim with so much pretentious bullshit and symbolism so I can trick people into thinking it is good.

They're redoing all the gay bullshit they've done during his first term to hand the Democrats the W so they can impeach him.
Hopefully Trump wins so bigly that he drags the GOP across the finish line by their anal butt plugs and all the fags rage quitting actually get replaced with MAGA chuds.

What the GOP should be doing to maximize damage against Trump is to remain occupied in their seats and continue to meander about. Quitting is a short term victory since they can be replaced with Qtriots in the upcoming midterms.
Even with their winning strategy to finally kill MAGA by tanking the Republican Party they've still managed to find defeat within the jaws of victory.

GitHub's Copilot
The quality of AI varies a lot and everyone I know using them for work say copilot is shit and cursor is the way to go. Sometimes Claude if the problem is more thinking out a problem with a thoughtful sounding board and the initial structure of the project.
Some use chatgpt or even grok. But never copilot, at least in my experience.

The people resigning are unfit to be called Republicans. They're all a bunch of closeted lefty cucks (Including the women).
