Elon keeps saying the feed will get better, but he's doing this on purpose cause he wants people fighting all the time. It actually is good for engagement, but it gets old. The only other alternative really is a hugbox like BS or reddit. Yeah I had to get rid of Twitter, it's just constantly serving you things to be outraged by.
This obsession with the retention rate will be the death of social media if nothing is done to change the course.
I think the younger generation who never got to experience a normal social media where you only talked to your classmates and looked at funny cat pictures will get burned out from it.

I'm going to explain to my kids what social media is doing to them subconsciously and that they should at least be aware of it.

Ironically "un-social" sites like Kiwifarms are the only places left where you can avoid getting this poison shoved down your throat.

Speaking as a member of the “younger generation”, you’re wrong. This stuff is basically visual heroin, and everyone my age or younger has been exposed to it since they were a baby. It requires a Herculean effort to get off of social media.

It was way easier for me to quit smoking than it is to stop watching brainrot and short form video. Lord knows what it’ll be like for Gen Alpha.

That nigger gets the boot. It doesn't help the Utah Supreme Court wanted to pull some shit, but got caught on recording and had to backtrack. That was years ago, but i have a good source.

It's just supply and demand. Get rid of the illegals and it would mostly go back to normal over time. But the dems will fight for every single brown illegal down to the last breathe so it's basically impossible. I'm pretty amazed we haven't had a 'serious' recession since 2007/08, but the economy's been fairly garbage since 9/11. I personally think we're heading for another soft landing style again. It's mostly just been stagnation forever in most sector. Stagflation is the big worry to me, and that goes back to mostly being about illegals and welfare.
