To be honest, the way I've been feeling about the Democrats ever since Trump's second term started is that they are completely irrelevant. The dude you've left off the list Mamdani who appears to be "the future of the Democrats". Essentially meaning that the mask has officially come off and we're officially facing Communists in America. We've actually been living under Communism for a long time in America anyway, priming the public for it without actually addressing it for what it is, what else is EBT, SNAP, and Food Stamps if not Communism? Being anti-communism is common sense for any true American, and nothing is really changing anyway as it's just business as usual for Democrats anyway.

It feels to me like the real battle right now is in the Republican party, Neo-Cons vs MAGA, and Trump is in the middle of them both at the moment.

The democrat talking point will be that the meanie republicans bullied the rest of the senate and refused to compromise even though they were in the majority, and the democrats decided that for the good of the people that they would heroically and triumphantly end the shutdown with no concessions met.
The only way they can spin this now is victimization, which as we all know they are incredibly good at making themselves the victims.
They will desperately try to use this as a jumping off point for the midterm elections, but the only thing that shut down has done is polarize and galvanize both sides of the bases. If anything they may have turned off some independent voters which bodes well for the GOP.
TL;DR: They are going to cry about how they didn't get their way and try to make the republicans out to be the saviors from the walking dead and paint Trump as Negan.
