Two escalating sides with that many guns. This seems like the recipe for a complete motherfucking disaster
Only the left are actually willing to use those guns while the right does nothing but kvetch on social media about how "Democrats are the real racist sexist antisemitic homophobes" and "imagine if the roles were reversed." I think we already know who's winning the eventual civil war.

nothing changed big picture, why are we surprised a bughive did bughive shit?

Its a mayor of a city, he cant do anything outside of that city other than tweet. Nothing has been decided on the tariff issue and even if it dosent go his way ive not seen any reason to believe trump wont just ignore a ruling against him.

Acting like New York is some satellite country with no reverse impact on the US is cope and gay. It's one of the major US cities. This is a real loss.
NYC has been lost for years, maybe decades. Pretending it happened yesterday is the real copium.

People turning their backs on the situation are just escaping the "If dem cities succeed it hurts the right, if dem cities fail it also somehow hurts the right" mental trap.

Also, NYC isn't built to last. It's literally sinking into the river and we'll lose it eventually regardless of who governs. Best get used to it now.

I mean NYC didn't even run a GoP candidate nor was there any realistic chance in any of the other races. And anyone who thought that Prop 50 in Commiefornia wasn't going to pass is either smoking the good shit or just a dumbass.
Seeing the results in CA has only strengthened my conviction of escaping this shit hole state. Considering Gavins latest "honor system voting" drama, Im fairly confident a massive amount of the yes votes are fraudulent. But at the same time I'm at my wits end with constantly seeing people around me vote for the same rot, then turn around and complain about rising taxes, cost of living, rising gas, etc. The Goy and niggercattle cant put 2 and 2 together. I'm done, I'm fleeing.

If Trump loses the tariff fight it will be a massive disaster, worst of his Presidency. If they are declared illegal not only do we lose all that revenue in the future, we will have to pay all we've earned back to the businesses, with no way to recoup the theoretical sales losses and consumer high charges the tariffs allegedly caused. Like Chimu Widgets Inc isn't going to refund the money back to customers. If orders were cancelled, you can't just get that back.

The Dems would be crashing the economy with no surviors and they could completely blame Trump--"If he hadn't done this illegal thing in the first place, we would have had this problem." :smug:
In what world would SCOTUS, particularly this SCOTUS, rule that Tarriffs are not an executive power?

Edit: Fuck I need to stop reading just highlights.

How in the name of all that is good and holy can oil be under 60 dollars a barrel but gas is still so fuck off expensive

We did lose the loose hold we had in Virginia though it usually flips party every time a new governor is up for election. But overall everything went as expected. The blue shitholes are still blue. Nothing changed. It is a warning light though that the Dems aren't vanquished quite yet.

There's actually conflicting reports because Trump suggested he planned to not pay out SNAP.

I think this paragraph sums up the confusion really well:

"We are paying it all, but maybe just 50%, but maybe actually 0%, but maybe all, xoxo kisses find out when find out"

There's nothing to react because nothing is even clear. Well, except that nobody here will give Trump any shit for implying he might ignore a court order (was blasphemy not too long back)

I'm only following the MA case, not the RI case, but regardless of what Trump said, the USDA fully bent the knee already. Of course, it wasn't good enough for the state plaintiffs. 🙄

Where does Trump keep finding these loser lawyers who can't articulate a point worth a shit? How can he have worse legal representation as the president than he did prior to the election?

According to boomer neocons on xitter, the reason they lost is because of Tucker, Fuentes, and antisemitism. Ok.

This is a dead party once Trump is gone.
I think Vance could do a decent job holding them together provided he wins 28. But it’s like I’ve been saying, the right has to primary these fucks into an early retirement.

Gas prices have nothing to do with how expensive oil is.

Cheap oil + Tariffs + Asking other countries not to buy Russian oil = they can't make money off of selling oil. Or rather, cheap oil is to ensure that oil is too cheap for Russia to make much money from, even when they find a way to sell it.
I'm not sure what putting a tariff on Russian oil does. I don't believe the US ever imported any for obvious reasons, and iirc no white countries still buy Russian oil.

Why do people keep being wrong on here? The GOP ran a candidate in NYC. They ran the same candidate they've been running for ages, Sliwa. Two Democrats split over 90% of the vote regardless. That's how NYC works. Oh and Mamdani ended up with over 50% clean. No other chicanery would have mattered.

Also, the Democratic Party had a primary to select their presidential candidate in 2024. Joseph Biden won it handily, as is expected for an incumbent (I know people who voted for him in the primary because he was demented and they are actually Republicans). Then he dropped out at a weird time and the Democrats did a bunch of weird shit. But doing another primary would also have counted as weird shit.
