If I only look at strangers online and comment sections it seems like it might have gone down a little, or at least more people are speaking up.
But if I only count people I know irl it has stayed the same or even gone up because people who were trans and/or activists still are and they're doubling down on their support of their "genocided community".
Several ppl who didn't give a rat's ass about "trans rights", let's say, 5 years ago are suddenly very passionate, and it looks like many of those people have either decided they are nonbinary, have a close friend or partner who trooned out or (this is the worst one) now have a gender special kid that was too online during the pandemic :/

They are jumping to the assumption that it is everyone else's fault for not hiring them, because transphobia. They never consider the fact that troons may be unpleasant to be around. It's always someone else's fault.
And as a pet peeve: If you have never been in the position where you cannot refuse a john, you're not a sex worker.

I could see it in that she was already technically an adult and seriously protesting would probably just push her farther away. It’s not ethical but it’s a difficult balance.

i would have no problem with trans/femboys/flaming homos whatever if it weren't for the monoculture cult stuff, and the amount of time they spend obsessing over their appearance. they all talk the same, like the same things, live the same lives. a tranny in california is leading an identical life to a tranny in new york. it's like they're robots.
you are familiar with this map painter thing? The trannies in mexico draw the same stuff as the trannies in sweden as the trannies in arizona et all.
These people have no lives except staring at themselves in the mirror and thinking about undertale. what is it about undertale that makes them so obsessed? i played it. it's like 4 hours long and all the characters they obsess over only speak maybe 7 sentences. the characters barely even talk and the fanbase hallucinates depth. maybe they didn't even play the game and it's pure performance to fit in with the monoculture.
i met a crossdressing gay man (he was not trans but if you saw him you would think so) and he was otherwise just a completely normal guy, supervisor lead at this officespace. and he didn't give a fuck about any of the fads or zeitgeist or to be honest what he looked like. he was a fat clown and he just wanted to wear women's clothes. i think he put very little thought into it. i liked that fag because he didn't get consumed into this cult and he still had his own thoughts and opinions. i don't think there was a lot of self-obsession happening with him, he wanted to carry a purse so he did. he didn't need to consult a bunch of jewish websites or subreddits and learn all the terms and lore about carrying a purse. it's not something that was an object of obsession for him. he had hobbies aside from carrying a purse. i wish trannies could calm the fuck down and they could all be like this guy. there's more to life than staring at yourself in the mirror and undertale.
i mean i hate bodybuilders as well for the exact same reason. i just have no sympathy really for any culture about staring at yourself in the mirror for a prolonged period of time. and i value individuality and can't stand seeing 1,000,000 perfect clones. thats the main problem of it to me. the funniest part is the majority of trannies don't even go outside so they are obsessing over their appearance and how they'll be perceived to an audience of Mom & Dad. but primarily just themselves. jacking off to yourself makes me very sick for reasons i'm too retarded to explain.
in short, i wish they would get a fucking life and then i'd like them ok.

I blame autism. They convince themselves that they aren’t men, but they have no inclination to live like an actual woman and no idea how to do so anyway.
So they take their social cues from other troons, who are equally clueless but also, crucially, are also autistic men. The troon “feels right” in this environment among “other women,” which reinforces his delusion that he was dysphoric and now he isn’t. And so he imitates his peers.

I'm a little late to the discussion about how to stop your kids falling into the gender trap, but I feel like a really underrated one is to stop being weird about traditional gender roles and pointlessly gendering stuff.
If your little girl likes monsters, toy trucks, swordfighting with sticks and playing in the mud, that's awesome! Good for her!
If your little boy likes Disney princesses, Hello Kitty, painting his nails, and playing house, that's awesome! Good for him!
Kids play. Kids pretend. Kids can like things. It doesn't have to mean anything, and I feel like a lot of harm is done by adults trying to 'fix' what they percieve as problems with their child's behaviour.

While trans identity going out of the trend might seem like a good thing, I would not wish it to replace it with anything else that would be as damaging to young people. I would warn anyone who believe that anyone who has social problems must be autistic, and should be diagnosed, and then processed through psychiatric system. Oftentimes you don't get more 'understanding' from getting diagnosed, you're just creating neurotic people with permanent inferiority complex with warped idea of normality because every little things became pathologised, and kids who didn't have good socialising and education because they got warehoused in sped instead of just growing up normally. Abigail Shrier just touched this a bit in the book Bad Therapy.
Autism imo, is more harm than help. and the label itself is going through a crisis, where we've been trying to find the biological basis for autism for decades and we found nothing and the theory of what it really is keep changing, it's likely not a 'real' (as in pointing to a specific thing in the brain) but a mixture of different things that cause social problems, and many could come from environment/upbringing, and likely could be improved, but autism framework hinders that.

I genuinely feel that since I was free to like and do whatever I wanted with little to no pushback growing up that I didn't end up getting sucked into the tranny cult as a very chronically online teen with self image issues. My mom wasn't the best mother but at least I can thank her for allowing me to just be weird growing up. I even knew about transsexuals and everything by the age of 10 and didn't have any real thoughts of thinking I was trans and but thank god there wasn't an agenda for it at the time because even I can't say I wouldn't have fallen for it as a confused developing teenage girl if it were being pushed as hard as it is now back then.
I got to be an awkward tomboy without any agenda and I just feel so lucky I made it out with my tits and reproductive organs in tact.

I think a lot of gender critical people (myself included) feel similarly.
I'm really old, but I strongly suspect, if I had had the misfortune to be growing up and coming of age in the climate of the last decade, I, as a lonely, insecure nerdy girl with a lot of more stereotypically 'male' interests, would probably have been swept up in all of this gender bollocks and could well have ended up calling myself a heckin' valid d00d by now.
The cult-like, Discourse-poisoned minds of the troon platoon, groomed on platforms like Twitter and Tumblr however, and now only able to view things through the prism of their newly prescribed ideology, oftentimes misinterpret statements like this and end up making ridiculous claims that "TERFs are all just bitter, closeted trans men who hate us because they ain't us!"

That's most likely from how kids (let's face it, most people identifying as queers are on the young side) will always want to fit in into some sort of group as part of socialisation, and when you have a global community as terminally online as them, they're going to assume these interests are what everyone else is into and feel that they should be interested in it too—hence the monoculture @bull_truefur described.

Eh, I'd say the troon obsession with Undertale is because it's "tumblrcore". It canonically has dykes (alphys/undyne) and faggots (guards) but no troons. The closest thing to a troon is the female ghost who was put in a male robotic body and became Mettaton.

I'd honestly respect a woman going "I wanna do sex work", but like troons, they always come up with an excuse. As if they're so hot they'd be stupid NOT to honor the world by selling their nudes. "It's easy money", never "I make a lot of money with hard work". Troons simply overdose on sexuality and the natural extension of that is going pro.
And by pro I mean being bribed by enablers and flying around the country for subpar boyhole.
