I know I talk at length in the thread about his Adderall use, but you're right.Mainly because you're pretty much turning a child into a hard drug user. I don't care if Adderal is pharma-grade, Speed is Speed. I know that stuff works for ADD but i don't even want to know what these hard chemicals do to developing brains, it is completely irresponsible.
I would go further to argue that there's no "alternative effects" or different experience between true and honest ADHD patients and normal people taking amphetamines. There seems to be a belief that if you're not someone with ADHD, you will really feel the amphetamines, whereas a person with ADHD would not experience those effects.
You're asking an ADHD person, with a full dump of dopamine flowing through their brain's receptors, "Is this good? Do you feel good? Should you be given more of this?" So of course they say yes and that it's helping.
