Memory of South Vietnam released an hour and forty minute documentary on the Battle of An Lộc two weeks ago.

I don't know what the swastika represents in this picture, but its use predates the Nazis by millennia.
I believe it's the Finnish Airforce, but I could be wrong. From what I know Finland used it because the guy who gave them their second ever plane back in 1918 had just painted it on the plane he gifted them. (The guy, Eric von Rosen, would actually go on to found Finland's National Socialist Party and was also Herman Goring's brother in law.)

That's not the Nazi swastika (not tilted, and the spokes are pointed in the opposite direction). Plus this seems to be the 1920s, before Adolf rose to power. I don't know what the swastika represents in this picture, but its use predates the Nazis by millennia.
I've read about a small group of the KKK existing in Germany during the Weimar Republic and the swatiska had been used by Germans before in an unofficial capacity during the times of instability after the fall of the German Empire. There are a few more photos from the same date. Apparently they were taken in Washington.

Interestingly, the actual American South prior to American entry into WWII was rabidly pro-British and thus hugely pro-war against Germany. The America First Committee was a largely Northern organization because anti-war sentiment was just so deeply unpopular in the South. There's a quote from an isolationist at the time that said that a speech from Charles Lindbergh wouldn't even be broadcast on any radio stations in the South, with him having to tune into a station 700 miles away just to hear it.

I thought about the Finnish Air Force but their swastika spokes point in the opposite direction:

I'm really not sure what the the swastika in that KKK photo represents, but I don't think it's Nazis and I don't think it's the Finnish Air Force.

Proof of the KKK's true and honest ARYAN origins saar. Why else would they want to cover their faces?

An article discussing a revisionist history of Italian Unification
https://engelsbergideas.com/essays/the-risorgimento-myth/ Argues that the Bourbons did nothing wrong.

It's bullshit, but it has little kernels of truth. The great economical difference between Northern Italy and Southern Italy was born of the post-WW2 developments, not of the Savoy kingdom: Northern Italy managed to lock itself with the central European economic block, if you check data most Northern regions (bar Piedmont and pieces of Lombardy) were significantly poorer than Southern Italy. That changed in the 50ies and caused two things: internal emigration from South to North, and the building of "gibs industries" in the South, were non-profiting State businesses were freely built in the South to get votes.

He's right in saying that the downfall of the Two Sicilies was mostly a British project, as the Savoy were mostly ineffectual puppets of foreign powers (they lost almost all the wars they started and they had to be saved by France, Germany and Britain almost constantly).

However, the Neo-Bourbons historians are essentially the equivalent of MUH REPARATIUNS in the US. They simply cherry-pick historical pieces to justify screaming for gibs and privileges and THEY WUZ KANGZ an' shit. It's not like Savoy and their goons didn't routinely massacre their own subjects in the North when they dared to protest.

Italian Unity in contemporary times, its political, economical and cultural details are a fascinating subject. Very few like the Italian State, and everyone is enamored of their "mythical pre-Unity past". But it's a subject almost too long for a simple post.

Video covering linguistic evolution of ancient Greek to modern Greek.

The channel is somewhat underrated.
It's a somewhat humorous refrain that the education system of Sparta relied on infanticide as to not place too big a burden on the state, which could potentially be the main reason it was practiced at all.
