As I said before, 99% of English Vtubers are Women, Women (especially those in entertainment and without kids), lean very hard left. Clara is notable because her sperging is so controversial and she's retarded enough to actually argue with people who reply to her, but you'd be delusional to think most other Vtubers aren't making similar comments in private.

Not quite so, statistically. They're almost average people, with a slight preference for their local "leftist" parties (not commies but shitlibs).

Clara being an exceptionally dumb bitch (the most molested vtuber, perhaps?) is her own problem.

But still, one of the greatest 'tubers, so she can overcome almost all of her personal failings, if she just goes to work.

I find it a bit important to try to separate the Roommate and the vtuber because of what it would imply. Namely, roommates being able to be used against the talent.

It doesn't excuse what Clara said, but I maintain the principle to not even try to cancel Clara for that retarded spout as it could backfire and hit future talents and even current talents.

But they'd do it too right? We must forego our principles and our beliefs to get back at the other side..
 
I used Pew’s election polling but I think most exit polling would show similar things:

Even in the relative Trump blow out in 2024–
57% of Asian women voted for Harris
56% of women 18-49 voted for Harris

I’m sure the intersection of white or Asian women 21-35, very online, live on the west coast, like anime etc. all increase the odds to >75% that your oshi is liberal or progressive or to the left of that. It’s not certain, just don’t be surprised, and save the spergouts for the dramatic or crazy ones like Clara. For whatever reason it seems like guys really into anime generally go right and women go left. I blame yuri and all the other 🏳️‍🌈 stuff

I'm surprised that anyone here was acting like Clara was somehow actually gonna be fired now or somehow left in the limbo void. If Sakana was gonna fire Clara he was gonna fire her with a proper graduation at the peak of the controversy but it looks like he chose the "temp suspension and stern talking to" and at the end of the day, if that means Clara fucks off of her politics sperging on her alt, it's win-win for Sakana because:
He keeps the talent on (isn't she one of the few idol-ish in Phase Connect?) and she makes him money, and-
-No controversial tainted graduation that'll almost certainly paint the corpo forever as a right-coded company. Yeah, none of us would hate that, but a massive corpo hasn't been obviously political in the American sense, and you do not want to choose a side in the nightmare that is American politics unless you absolutely have to, especially given the hobby is mostly in a bubble from politics in the first place. If Clara had done this on her main Vtubing channel, then he could have fired her with the shield of "I don't want my talents doing obvious political messaging and dividing the fans" and it probably sticks, but not so when the sperging is on an alt acount that 99% of people will never know about if they watch Clara for her Vtuber life.

And as for your actual comment, the reason is because white/asian women are more bleeding-heart, wanting to see every person that isn't aggressive (read: masculine men) as someone that doesn't deserve horrible punishments that outcast them from society. Thus they get swindled in with the trans rights and "let's not throw the book at justice-involved individuals!" and thus contribute to all the bad policies that result from that view. It's sad, really.
 
I think if Clara now comes back it is actually the correct approach. As not enough people will care anymore to have impact. Only if this kind of stuff becomes repeated pattern like Niji it will cause problems. But simply shutting up for while if best media control in these times.
 
I agree she shouldn't be fired because twitter fags are mad, giving in to angry shouting would be a bad precedent and all the scum in the world would smell blood in the water and try to take their pound of flesh too
but he should have fired her when she repeatedly talked shit about other talents. She has obviously been causing problems and hurting other talents for a long time before this. She's the one who crossed the line about roommate accounts by directly quoting other talents to attack them. and there's no point pretending it's separate, they clearly know and arent happy about the things she said
I doubt many talents give any fucks about Kirk but they already didn't like Clara before due to her behavior towards other talents, so bringing a shitstorm to their doorstep probably didn't win her any favors either
I think anyone who believes she's not going to cause any more problems in the future because she had a talking to is immeasurably optimistic.

I still play old j2me games off an emulator (J2ME Loader) to this day. I can tolerate the shitty graphics, since atleast the old games don't throw 30 ads and other bullshit while you're trying to play stuff
 
It's funny that me saying the same shit we are saying now was considered dumb before at the height of the drama. All because spergs wanted blood and a short sighted 'win'..
