Saying Obama got the NPP for doing nothing isn't accurate. Obama was awarded the NPP for saying he was going to end the war in Afghanistan. On the same day he received the award, he ordered a surge of 30,000 US troops into Afghanistan.

It was worse than "doing nothing." He expanded the war and went on to bomb 7 additional countries. He dropped so many bombs that we literally ran out. He was such an overwhelming warmonger that he made the Bush dynasty look like pacifists.

I can buy gas at two different prices with a 40 cents split about five minutes apart. It's like they drew a line and everything west is one price, east is another. In the past the cheaper station was cheaper by like 3-5 cents. I have no idea what's going on here.
Around me, gas is 20-40 cents per gallon (5-11 cents per liter) more in areas that are seen as affluent or in areas that hate gas-powered anything. Conversely, gas can run sub-$3 in urban areas that probably aren't safe to stop and refuel in. What makes less sense is the station in my area going opposite the trend in the statewide average. One day, I pulled in to fill up as the price dropped 17 cents before I even stopped at the pump. Go figure 🤷‍♂️

All i’m asking for is good worksmanship. I love Made in America, but how come we can’t get anything that isn’t made in fucking Mexico or China??
Companies want to produce goods on the cheap and have maximum markups and profits to keep the stockholders happy.

For the longest time, I had heavy duty nail clippers made in Pakistan from who knows how long ago. When they recently broke, the only replacement options were Chinesium-made. As long as China has a stronghold on cheap production, they will continue to hold a virtual monopoly on global manufacturing.
