What sank Tim Walz above all else was getting in front of a camera. This man has one facial expression.

I don't know why he didn't go into acting, he would fit every single role that calls for "spineless suit-wearing bureaucrat who was evil/corrupt the whole time."

He looks like he could accidentally eat a small child without realizing what he was doing. Like a toad.

It was so funny in retrospect. Picking her looked so bad on paper without a vote, but they had no choice, they fucked themselves into thinking Biden was okay until it was FAR too late to run another primary, and Kamala was the only one that had some sense of legitimacy (when I say some, I mean it in the tiniest dot under a microscope) since she was VP. No, that isn’t a good excuse either, keeping Biden was just as bad, as for forfeiting? lol. Trying to organize a party wide vote? Maybe in some manner, but you’ll have zero time to campaign after.
Stuck between a rock and a hard place, not a single possible choice was good, and they entirely brought it on themselves.
They were screwed kinda from the start in 2020. Biden was a compromise candidate between student factions. He was old school enough to know how things really work in Washington and he had the stink of Obama on him. Even then he was forced to promise a black female vp to get the Progs on board. They couldn't have a primary because they were already starting to fracture after the loss in 2016, and their universal opposition to Trump was the only thing motivating them to cooperate in 2020. If Biden drops out before primary then the DNC civil war starts in 2023. He was the least bad of a no win situation.
The only reason Kamal was forced in was money. They didn’t want to lose all the money in the Biden/Harris kitty.
They had 200 million iirc when Biden dropped out. Kamala wasted 1500 million. The DNC would of happily ran a better candidate with 1.3 billion than Kamala with 1.5.

She's not wrong. It is good to document the shit that politicians say, and catch them in their lies. One of the best ways to strip power from people who are getting uppity is to mock, ridicule, and laugh at them. Why is Dollar Store Obama seething at the sombrero memes? Because they're revealing to the whole world what a clown he is, and people are laughing at him.

Is nothing sacred anymore? I mean, CAPTAIN PLANET??!?

(I was so far behind the thread because of weekend gigs I used highlight to read the thread. So if this was posted earlier and I missed it because it wasn't highlighted, I'll take my clocks)
Honestly, these PSAs at the end of the episodes went completely over my head, and were boring to me. But going back and watching Captain Planet again as an adult, there was definitely a strong anti-human vibe throughout the entire cartoon. Honestly, that kind of anti-human sentiment was one of the defining features of the wider "Save the environment, kids!" portion of the 1990s zeitgeist.

A few posts on reddit and X complaining that servicemen had to wait and stand for over 25 minutes because the President was late. The phrase "hurry up and wait" apparently has never been said around them.
What I saw was posts saying Hegseth “disrespected” the generals. And it’s like, hello? The military is BUILT on breaking down and building up grunts into hardened soldiers. Every single one of these generals have faced this treatment before and *should* understand that the military is not a place for coddling, sweetness, or weakness. Like he said, this is an organization in the business of killing people if need be.

Too many slacked jawed faggots in the civilian population think they know what’s best for the military, and apparently what’s best is catering to “everyone’s fweewings”. Hell I’m a civilian, but even the average civilian should understand the military represents the best of the best in offense and defense for one’s country, not a daycare. Irregardless of one’s political stance.

I would like to see a post or comment from any of these generals and see what they think, but all I can find is the general media crying.

Trump memeing dems into unironic states rights johnny rebs is a comment on Dems lack of any moral consistency and how their only real position is "the opposite of what drumpf does"

Getting twitter updoots is not "totally sticking". The only people who were buying into the "erm yikesy wikesy that's like totally weeeeird~" shit was reddit millennials, who were already voting for Kamala anyway.

Smugly dismissing your opponent might work in reddit """arguments""" but here in the real world all that does is piss your opponents off and make you look immature. But hey, Redditors not understanding that social media is not real life after the last decade is unsurprising.

Here in the real world, Waltz trying to pull the fake folksy crap with the goofy ass hunting shit and then getting blown the fuck out by JD dashed any kind of mainstream support he would've gotten in the eyes of normies, not him being "muzzled" I.E. not being allowed to argue like a teenage girl anymore.

I think they also do it because Trump likes to make fun of them (remember they love to subvert and use the tactics of their enemy), failing to realize that they are annoying faggots and when Trump is bullying them and people cheer is because thats what everyone wants to say to them but they are too polite for it, also he is infinetely more funny than any of these smug cunts.

Anything donated to the Biden/ Harris campaign would have been lost. Campaign finance rules would have required dems to return that if one of the two wasn’t running. Republicans were watching that money like a hawk, waiting for them to mess up.

It's literally the "O FUK JUST SHIT M'SELF" face, but then again they were used to that with Biden.
