The next time there is a natural disaster in a blue state and they ask to call up the guard and for other federal aid, Trump should respond that he will do so immediately, after a two week review to make ABSOLUTELY sure it is legal.

That seems like a SKETCHY ass loophole.
Turning over former military equipment to law enforcement is very controversial, it started with the war on drugs and escalated again during the war on terror. So yeah every Police Department has a Bearcat armored vehicle now and stuff like that.

Bringing in military personnel to conduct actions domestically would be a whole separate issue; aside from legal restrictions, the military indoctrinates people to dehumanize and kill the enemy, not respect their civil rights.

I do agree with the sentiment. To the point where I've argued with people on the site about cases where I think we should probably not jump on the crushing free speech bandwagon even through it feels great seeing people we hate have it used against them.

Although I would definitely never be labeled a communist so I don't know how they could really use that against me specifically. Maybe people in some underground white nationalist groups that unironically label themselves national socialists could have this one used against them.

That said I definitely don't know the history with that committee. So I don't know what kind of reach they had. I assume it was part of McCarthism or some effect of it. And I would need to brush back up on it probably.
Joseph McCarthy was the head of it, and it is where the term "McCarthyism" came from, due to his dogged pursuit of every commie he could find and out in the hearings the Committee held. SMH

Anyone worth mentioning isn't confirmed to run yet. Andy Beshear could run moderate but his blatant corruption with his father will be a point of contention and he has no real vision for America.

Governor Wes Moore could also run but his policies would be difficult to defend on a national stage, his personal life has plenty of baggage, and although he's black he doesn't have any proven record he could move the black vote. Wes Moore thrives in his rich tiny state, that's no guarantee he could win over Virginia blacks for example. That's assuming he could even make it through the primaries. Dems always SAY they want a minority, but the primaries showed they wanted Hillary, Biden, Buttigieg, Bernie, Warren, etc.

Ironically in spite of everyone pretending Dems want a new vision, they've twice chosen old visions [2016 and 2020].
I think 2024 proved the Democrats can't count on black voters being suckered in to vote for a shitty candidate just because of color.

Didn't they fall hook, line, and sinker for Obungo? If we're operating on pure demographic assumptions, then I think the real issue they had with Kamala is that she was a woman of color. Not just a woman of color, but a woman of color.

Try interacting with a negress. You'll understand why the niggas are always asking where da wite wimmin at.

she's said that twice before.

bitch is retarded.
To be fair, I’ve heard similar sentiments. Something like - “October 7th but it’s happening in America because of all the terrorists who poured in through Mexico.”

We’re pretty loaded with guns. So it’ll probably be a blue area if something like that ever actually happens.

But nothing ever happens.

Tell that to the people at Waco.
Oh wait you can't.
Waco is still there. The Branch Davidiot compound was outside of town.

Things changed. A lot of blacks saw that Obama did nothing that made their lives better and have realized that the Dems basically regarded them as vote slaves, hence the widespread use of "walking off the plantation" to refer to leaving the blue side.

Fake nigger Harris being pushed as the person ALL blacks MUST vote for backfired huge, and a lot of black voters are now looking at substance, not skin, when they vote.

What if instead, we were to take a percentage of the corporate profits generated by using cheap foreign labor as taxes and put that back into American education, infrastructure and everything else in places that have been left behind by the shifting economy?
I am against the practice of paying anyone slave wages, the most merciful thing we can do for the browns is send them back to Brownistan to figure their own shit out and adjust our own business strategies so that we don't need slave labor to stay afloat, allowing companies that truly rely on it to go under and be replaced, causing short term economic hardship but eventually leading to a stronger domestic industry further down the line

Here is a cool article with an example of this being not just possible but practical:

Sharpie Found a Way to Make Pens More Cheaply—By Manufacturing Them in the U.S. (Link | Archive)

If everyone just tribalistically did this for the prosperity of their own ingroup without worrying about the crying poor browns outside the gates, the crying poor browns would either fix their shit or destroy themselves, which is a win for us either way

You're getting too overconfident. People didn't vote for Harris because she was extremely off putting and gave 99% of men PTSD flashbacks of that one sadistic dyke teacher they had who ruthlessly tortured boys because they had cocks.

The Dems could absolutely fool the normies again if they manage to find a soft spoken well educated negro in a stuffed suit.

My take, is that the Democrats will not win another Presidential election until they have a genuinely moderate candidate, basically a modern day Bill Clinton. The Liberal wing has become far too radical and crazy for moderates to find appealing, for the past 9 years moderates are leaning redder and redder because enforcing your borders and controlling your cities for innocents' safety is not some crazy ultra right-wing shit. But to Liberals it is apparently. But forcing your elementary school kids to learn about gay rights is more important to them.

Also I think how fucked up the housing market and economy has been for a while is genuinely going to have a ripple effect for younger generations, young men are already poised to deal with economic hardships and, unless you're relying on welfare and enjoying it, that's never going to end up with them being pro-taxation on anything, at minimum.

I think Vance would easily sweep any D candidate currently poised to run. He's Trump with none of the baggage, even more isolationist, young, and he can actually articulate his points effectively and not just boomer-hardass-talk through everything. Plus he has some genuine humility.

Arguably, what really got this ball rolling was the North Hollywood Shootout in 1997. Those cops were completely outgunned.
