Debate mlanguishi about the police system in America

Okay stupid nigger, if you have "medical shit" that inebriates you to the point you can't drive and you crash into a ditch and get arrested, you are the stupid nigger that deserves to be arrested. Dumbass.
Undiagnosed even? What if you fall asleep on a long road? Lock em up too?

I hate to be a bitter asshole, but I pray you boot lickign faggots end up on the wrong end of the justice system. I hope you get ruined to the point of homelessness. The idyllic view you fuckign people have is so far from reality, i hope you crash face first into it.
I think most of us agree that cops can be fucking bastards even if our own experiences have been neutral to fine. A cop gave my pregnant wife a fucking ticket after we had a wreck for reckless driving. I get it, there's more than a handful of assholes. (How could it be reckless when we'd just had a wreck! :D )

However the liquid seethe you're leaking into all your posts makes me want to bully you regardless of what I think.

No one gives a shit if you've been arrested. What matters is if you've been charged or convicted of anything.
Huge disagree. Arrests show up on background checks unless they're expunged and when they do, even if you were in the right, you are at the mercy of the prejudices of whoever your would-be employer happens to be.

Maybe this matters less if you're working at a McDonalds, I dont know what your job happens to be, but if you're any kind of professional or careerist, particularly in fields of public trust, just the presence of an arrest alone can sink you when the other 1000+ candidates have clean records

I have never drank or drove or used any drugs or driven you idiot.
lol wtf you never have drank, you never have tried a single drug, and you don't drive? What do you do all day? You live on a farm in the middle of nowhere and have only seen a tractor as the primary machine in your life? I thought everyone in America has driven a car at least once unless they were born without thumbs or something.

technically most jurisdictions don't specify what is I-ing you while you DU, and you can absofuckinglutely get charges for that
I've seen a DA trying to get someone for taking ibuprofin while driving for a DUI. Don't think you guys are immune to this shit, ok?

dismissed arrests should be auto-expunged without cost
I will agree with you on this 100%. If you get arrested and it doesn't lead to a charge, it shouldn't be considered by employers.

As I said in my edit: this depends on the state. People can say "laws don't matter, employers will discriminate anyway," but forget that there are a bazillion turboniggers out there who shop around for employment discrimination lawsuits. That's why companies comply with shit like this.

Fine, what about if you have a medical emergency while driving at all? Lock em up I guess? Stroke, heart attack, something unknown before? Guess you're perfect.
I guess I've been in more car crashes then you. Once you buckle in, you, the driver, are responsible for everything that happens. There are scarce exceptions to this rule.

Yeah that sucks. I don't know if we should let exceptions control how police respond to a given situation though.

Yes! It's your obligation if you're feeling tired to pull over and take a cat nap till you can get a handle on yourself. Terrible, terrible comparison.
Ok, sleeping ok. That's a mess. But sudden onset illness is different to me. I'm glad I got an agree above that dismissed arrests should be auto expunged, that is major progress here and that's now how the system works.

In my experience, every applicant that was seriously considered at my workplace and fessed up to the arrests on their record got hired. Now I'm not going to say that was retarded, but more than a few should have been passed over, but weren't because we were having trouble finding applicants.

Cops are necessary for society to function. This does not mean they are always right, or even mostly right. Moreover, arrest records for non-violent misdemeanor crimes along with certain non-violent felonies shouldn't be searchable at all, frankly. The point of the criminal justice system for most of the people caught by it is or should be reform, not permanently turning them into second-class citizens and ruining their future job prospects.

Qualified immunity is an issue where I can see why you'd want to keep it and why you'd want to get rid of it, so my way to sidestep the issue is to reduce (note: not eliminate, reduce) the number of laws that we have in general to minimize the chances that the average person winds up on the wrong end of some petty asshole of a cop.

Yes, if your retarded ass can't pull off and take a nap you deserve to be in a cell for your trouble. Quit making excuses for nigger behavior.
What if you pass out from undiagnosed narcolepsy or epilepsy, that was more my poorly worded point.
