I might be sperging and paranoid and thats fine, but I feel like posting in a specific smaller language makes it easier to identify you if shit goes south.
It also keeps people that might be interested in the country lolcows but aren't proficient at the language away (Maybe this is a good thing depending on how you see it).

I would honestly rather have the boards in english so everyone can post whatever.

Edit: Heh don't mind me, just sperging out.

International clique already has non-English threads though (and 2 non English sub boards aswel), so I don't think it matters much to add more

Obviously you can just decide to not post in them

Yeah that's fair. I'm pretty sure I'm just overthinking shit. I guess more accessibility would be an improvement for the website.

As a speaker of a dying language, you're so real for this.

Spanish is an odd one, while I would be interested in posting, most Spanish-speaking lolcows with threads are Mexican, and I'm not quite in a position to write threads on cows from different parts of the Iberosphere. I think that when it comes to Spanish you either reach critical mass, centralizing discussion across all mutt countries or you have no activity, there is no in between IMO

ETA: Ayayayyyy Dios mío!!!! El gringo Josué Luna está colonizando la esfera de las vacas risueñas!

Some smaller, more niche languages definitely serve as a massive fingerprint. There's millions of Russians and millions more who can at least understand Russian, but there's less than ten million Finns, despite the artistic (and autistic) powerhouse they are. I feel that, if language-specific boards are to flourish and not be self-contained little islands, more language boards should automatically come with UI work to encourage use of alternate accounts for specific boards without divulging your identity. I'd be interested in them then, but otherwise consider the language boards read-only. At the same time, I would be genuinely surprised if Xenforo allowed for multiple persona without shitting the bed.

I wish there were an easier way to read about lolcows from other countries without needing to know the language. i thought that whats the point of the international clique, Lolcows from third world countries are fascinating and they get away with much more deranged shit, There was this Mexican Lolcow that killed 6 people while drunk driving and got away with it, became a vtuber and started making anti-woke content.

you never see that in civilized countries.

Some non English boards would be cool just as a way to further engage in immersion learning.
