The fact that this describes 4chan almost a tee (people are trying to make new narratives, not reinforce old ones) makes me think it's just the state of online discussion. Shit sucks man.
Hello fellow fugee. Not sure how long you've been lurking here but if you're familiar at all with the culture remember to notice any bullshit and gatekeep the FUCK out of this place for that reason. Call any obvious wumaos muzzies indians or retards out then put them on ignore. 4chan died because we engaged with them.

4chan was very interesting and if I had infinite time I would get data from the archive sites to study its downfall. Ever since discovering the farms in 2015 i've spent proportionately less time there as I have more time here almost in an exact X graph.

The strange thing is even in recent years, while things were complete shit, every board would occasionally have a thread that felt exactly like the old days. Like being in a time machine. Threads where people joked when they were supposed to, provided info when they were supposed to, racist jokes without being demoralizing about it, minimal ESL, things just feeling normal. Those threads, more than anything else, were proof to me that the shittification was never organic. I wonder if the brigarders/discordians/bots search for certain terms or amounts of traffic or something which results in niche threads filtering through their notice.
I couldn't read the medical-ese for shit in the report so I cut and pasted it into ChatGPT and asked it to explain it to me in plain English.
I've learned ChatGPT's usefulness is directly related to one's ability to prompt it properly and understand what it's good at and what it is not. Most of the spergs on reddit who complain about it literally expect it to have god powers and/or are illiterate and prompt it in the dumbest way then wonder why it treats them like they're retarded. Be specific about what you DO understand, what you don't, and what you want to know, then keep in mind what info it might not have access to when you read its answer.

They're not domesticated and you can't domesticate them. According to scientific fact, it takes about 25 generations to domesticate an animal. Because they're not domesticated like dogs and cats, the rules that apply to a domesticated pet don't apply to them. If your dog acts up you can scream at it or smack it and it'll run away yelping and go belly up and take it's lower place again in the pack in regards to you and your family. That shit doesn't work on a squirrel. Since it's a wild animal by nature, it's always on guard for what it might perceive as a threat and will react against that threat. So you get idiots who find a baby squirrel and attempt to keep it and raise it as a pet. Then it does squirrel things like piss on your couch or chew into your wood furniture and the human might attempt to swat it away or smack it which the squirrel will perceive as a threat, in which case the squirrel will react by biting and clawing causing the moronic human to realize squirrels aren't pets and then they'll throw it outside leaving a maladjusted* squirrel to attack humans.
When I was a wee lad, this older fellow had two squirrels in his barn, he had patched up some sort of contraption on the back of a barn door where they could hang out, out of the wind and the rain and the crazy stuff that might do em harm, but they could get out and run out into the wild if they wanted. He accidently killed their mother when he was cutting firewood and they were wee tiny things and he told folks he didn't want them to die as well. i reckon that's about as close as you can get to having a squirrel around as a "pet", but it's not really a pet like most.

I figure you are probably right, that poor squirrel had been mistreated and had a grudge.

This is old, but if anyone rates you late I will fight them. It is always funny.
I don't care if it is old. Its perfect.
It's like someone asked a non-lobotomized AI to make an 11 second video perfectly describing modern shitlibs and the consequences of their actions. *Chef's kiss*
You guys hate mormons because they wear magic underwear. I hate them because most of them are glowniggers.
Why not both? Does not a piece of pie pair better with a scoop of ice cream? Might I humbly suggest that sir might care to try his hatred à la mode?

As far as people who say "All we wanted to do is play video games", yeah, I have a feeling that's not happening. I've been getting emails and promotions about the new Silent Hill game coming out. I checked it out and boy, is the description a doozy. Well, at least the disclaimers before you can even pass the age check page.
The game is good though and doesn’t have any major censorship. It has almost everything we wanted from a new Silent Hill game, with the exception of it not actually taking place in Silent Hill(I’m actually really annoyed by that.) Sure the dark souls inspired combat is a bit weird, but people forgot that Silent Hill Homecoming also had dodge based action combat that was very similar to Dark Souls before that franchise ever began, so I see this more as an evolution of that. We just haven’t had a new silent hill in 15 years so everyone considers it to SH2’s remake instead.

Honestly, with all the abuse, sexuality, and gore in this game, with zero lefty political bullshit, and the excellent and bastardized Snake Eater remake we got last month, I’m totally fine with disclaimers at the beginning if it means we get real video games again. It’s just bizarre that my three favorite releases this year came from Konami, who I wrote off as a dead company forever ago

The governor of Oregon, Tina Kotek, spoke with Donald Trump and secretary of homeland security Kristi Noem on Saturday morning (September 27). She said Oregon and Portland do not need federal law enforcement or troops.

On Sunday morning (today) Trump was interviewed by NBC and he spoke about this conversation.
"I spoke to the governor, she was very nice," Trump said. "But I said, 'Well wait a minute, am I watching things on television that are different from what's happening? My people tell me different.' They are literally attacking and there are fires all over the place...it looks like terrible."
He continued later:
"They are attacking our ICE and federal buildings all the time," Trump said. "You know, this has been going on for a long time. This has been going on for years in Portland. It’s like a hotbed of insurrection."
KGW8, Portland's local news station, reported as follows:
Since June 2025, more than two dozen people have been arrested in connection with protests outside Portland's ICE building on the south waterfront.
Most of the arrests occurred in the first month. The protests have generally decreased in size over time with reduced levels of confrontation, and law enforcement has maintained a watchful security presence at the building.
Of the criminal cases, most are still ongoing. Three individuals pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of 'failure to obey a lawful order' and received 6 months of probation and fines. Another case was dismissed by federal prosecutors.
Others facing more serious charges, including felony offenses for assaulting federal officers, are set for trial later this year or in early 2026. Most of the arrests have led to misdemeanor charges, per a KGW analysis of court records.

The document posted above by Sensitive Young Man bears the signature of Pete Hegseth, the secretary of defense and a former Fox News contributor.

My question: Does anyone here watching Fox News see a lot of use of old videos showing chaos, including footage from places other than Oregon? Social media posters from around Portland tell me that distant family members worry that they are in a warzone, but the residents seem to find the place peaceful. Is Trump getting fed false and deceptive information?

EDIT: Is there a reason why this post is getting rated dumb? Is it because I don't blindly accept every piece of ragebait I see from Fox News?

KGW sources:
During call with President Trump, Oregon governor said Portland does not need federal troops

Trump seems to back off Portland military plan: 'Am I watching things on television that are different from what's happening?'

There's yet ANOTHER church shooting?

And apparently its collapsing after a fire.

Latter day saints - revenge for Charlie or a troon/furfag?

Given they're fighting the fire, I wonder if the shooter was already handled. Radio chatter suggested live ammo was going off, maybe cooking off in the fire.
Reading on twatter that the media apparently is running with a completely unrelated photo of a truck with American flags in the back having rammed a building sometime in 2023 to give the impression this was a MAGA shooting.

I never thought I'd see "Pic Unrelated" at the bottom of an article like a fucking 4chan copypasta, but we've hit desperation levels on the left ("Please god stop trying to kill them for 5 minutes they're starting to get suspicious") I didn't think possible.
How the fuck do these people think the Islamosphere came to be?
They literally think that Islam isn't any different than the toothless subverted "If you're being nice according to 2025 standards you're doing a heckin' wholesome Christianity" religion they've seen in the US since the 80s or so -- only brown flavored, so it's inherently better than that icky Western Christianity.

They have no idea that if Islam gets a foothold their favorite activities like degeneracy, murdering children, consoooming, will all be replaced with "Study the holy book in silence while covered head to toe like a beekeeper, whore, or die horrifically covered in acid and bruises and sandnigger semen" and no amount of Jess Phillips trying to explain to them that they're doing Musliming wrong (by taking their children out of a UK Public School with a Gay Jewish principal that tried to teach their kids about anal sex; this happened, the look the Muslim mother gave Jess was hilarious) will make them allow them to dress like whores in public, listen to music, et cetera.

On the one hand I almost want to see them accidentally bring this world about, because seeing them crash out like the True Believers in the Gulag would be hilarious. "I don't understand, don't they understand we totally destroyed their faith with facts and logic?!" On the other hand, it sounds like such a huge pain in the ass to commit ethnic cleansing on Sandninggers in the West to undo it after it happens, so...

So for everyone who enjoyed the original Pajeetch removal guide posted a couple days ago here are a few other versions to share with others. Should be enough variation to cover just about every kind of person on earth. Good luck soldiers.

Catholics lean liberal in more liberal areas, and conservative in more conservative areas. Most Catholics don't regularly attend Mass, which is likely contributing to more liberal tendencies.
Honestly, there aren't a ton of differences between the two outside of giving a shit what the Pope says, and how they view things like original sin. If you have the chance to attend both a Catholic and Orthodox Mass where you live, it will 100% help you make a decision.
Orthodox church parishes can be made up of left leaning people too, but you won't here them talk much of lgbt or social left issues as much as not liking Trump because hes rude. A reminder though, we don't go to Church for politics, we go to be with and worship God.

but people forgot that Silent Hill Homecoming also had dodge based action combat that was very similar to Dark Souls before that franchise ever began, so I see this more as an evolution of that.
lmao. People only compare any game with a dodge and attack system to Souls games because it's a popular sub-genre these days. I always laugh because it's an unwitting admission that bog standard Souls games have no actual combat mechanics (other than the stamina meter, which was not even original to Demon's Souls anyway.) But since people know what a Souls game is they immediately do the soyjak pointing meme at it and compare it to Souls slop.

What game am I describing here: You can attack enemies until they get close to you at which point the game expects you to input the dash combo which sends you across the screen and gives invincibility frames for the entire dash animation.

If you guessed Alien Soldier (Genesis/Mega Drive) then congrats you won. A game from 1995.

Avoiding attacks and then punishing the enemy has always been a staple to any real time game since they added an attack button to platformers. In the 80s instead of a dodge you just jumped over enemy attacks, dodging/strafing started to become normalized in the 90s and then devs started to add even more complexity to defensive actions in games during the 2000s, you can see a more nuanced idea of dodging/countering as early as Onimusha in 2001 with its Issen system. But From didn't really get the memo and just stuck with the bare minimum and made it popular with really good RPG systems and level design shouldering the basic ass combat.

Even Silent Hill 1 had a strafe option, the core combat loop even then (when you weren't avoiding combat anyway) was to strafe attacks and then punish with your weapon. Same shit as now just with a more archaic control scheme.
