I'm utterly terrified that this turns into what it looks like it might turn into. America has very few chances to take offramps from this disaster, i'm not even sure we have any more offramps. Anyone cheering for this is a fucking idiotic faggot and they have no idea what that entails.

At this point, I wish they'd just say "fuck it" and be the enemy they wish they were. Maybe it'd put things in perspective for them, maybe they'll get their just desserts. Either way, all this placating isn't doing anything but making everybody else angrier.

I can already foresee the next 3 years will be nothing but constant acts of terrorism from the left while the right goes "that's so mean, why would you guys do that? We need to tone down the rhetoric in this country" while they do nothing to stop it. Then Vance will get elected and everyone will be sure that things will change this time just for nothing to happen.

Arrest people. they know who violent members of ANTIFA are, they know who is funding them, they know who have been making verifiable threats online. fuck, they should be knocking the doors down of politicians and media figures for the crazy and illegal shit some of them have said.

The government can come down real swift and hard when it comes to finding right wing grandmas who got a guided tour of the capitol, but suddenly when it comes to catching actual murderous leftwing terrorists the gears of justice turn slow. I'm not buying it, nothing is happening because they don't want to do it.

Of course you're not going to catch every random fag, but you cannot have a clear and sustained escalation like we've seen from the left and not righteously use the full force of the government to crush them. This is how you get the Spanish Civil War.
