God I've always hated this fucking strip in particular. He's not even right. The "Right to Freedom of Speech" is a fundamental human right, "god given" as our Declaration of Independence would say, but (at least on paper) universally recognized as something a human being has innately when it is born and isn't something "granted" to it by any authority besides existence itself.

That first panel would be more accurate if he'd said "The First Amendment" -- which is the government's written recognition of that natural human right and its covenant not to violate it with laws or regulations.

I think the contract was re-negotiated and that's why August is "quiet quitting" aka putting 0 effort in the yt videos to the frustration of DGG (no timestamps, straight vod rips, late and irrelevant uploads etc). Not a big deal but it's something else he managed to spoil.

He pranked Twitter earlier this week by passing off his Twitch ban from 2022 as having just happened, which got picked up by Fox News and other mainstream outlets. So he has the capacity to do something like this.

I still stand by the fact that he's not directly engagement-farming for this as good enough evidence that this is genuine.

If he were to get actually banned from youtube, he would burn through that money pretty quickly.

Then there's the whole court case, in which he's bleeding money from Andy B.
