My point is that Charlie and other conservafags spend every day of their lives treating the victims of mass shootings as "worthwhile sacrifices" to keep guns they'll never use because maybe the government might do something bad (and this same crowd conveniently ignores how much the current government is trouncing on people's freedoms).

The most the right ever gives is a token "thoughts-and-prayers", before taking their NRA blood money and evangelizing about how guns are a god-given right and how we MUST let young children be turned into bullet-filled piles of torn flesh and never ever reform the systems of gun ownership or sale in this country. Because muh 1776 fantasy.

If Charlie were still alive right now, if it had been someone else in the crowd or in his team who had gotten shot dead, or some children at church or in a grade school, he'd do his exact same routine of waving away their deaths and humming right along while counting his money. It never mattered to him when it was other people's husbands, wives, or children dying, so fair's fair. He's not owed any additional pity outside of "thoughts and prayers".
