I used to check romhacking.net and cdromance religiously, and guess what happened to both: they got shut down thanks to trannies causing drama. It's like they're physically incapable of not doing it.
Something about Brette (RHDN staff), DDOSing his own site out of spite towards the owner I think. This post goes in more detail. (see also /vr/'s coverage of the incident). Something important to note is Brette also became a staff member at Spike's alternative, RHDO. His presence immediately jeopardized the whole thing, like the site was made to escape from the problems with RHDN, no? Back then, I thought Spike didn't know any better, but little did I know...

And then what happened to CDR? After Spike gave submitting rights to more users, one of them uploaded an mtf's Gameboy port of a ftm's itch traumadump. Spoiler alert: nobody fucking liked it. And the troon who uploaded it wouldn't stand for this.

Look at this neckbeard bragging over his powertrip. Teone the brapzilian tranny janny had and continues to have Spike on a leash, funny because Spike himself gave off the impression of being based or at least chill, steering away from this stuff and even posting on /vr/. CDR's official reason to close shop was Nintendo but it happening right after this makes you think. (See /vr/ again)

Now they shut down CDR and took their toys to RetroGameTalk, a closed forum, Spike's fiefdom of trannies, a literal hugbox with no negative emotes even.

Now, an aside for other "communities": there's this channel in yt called ClassicsOfGame that features clips of weird obscure retro games, click on any random video and the comments are absolutely CRAWLING with AGPs, I think I even say breadtuber hbombersoy in there once.
Now what about /vr/? After the hack I expected the older userbase there to leave, scatter to forums, and be replaced with retarded /v/ kids who emulate on their phones, but it stayed largely the same, just unmoderated. If you click the links to sudearchive above you'll see the jannies seething and deleting half the posts to cover for their own kind, I hadn't seen leakage of such proportions since that on /vt/ over Pikamee's harrassment (please tell me the /vr/ janny got doxed raped and killed PLEASE), so anyone with common sense had left by then, homeless but free.

I had the displeasure of playing He Fucked The Girl Out Of Me on PC and it's objectively a bad game. From what I could tell, it's made using GB Studio, so the "port" is just a direct upload.
