Someone was asking a few pages back about why destiny was able to attract a following.

A major reason why is because his audience is made up of people who think they're doing political action by getting into reddit arguments constantly. You can tell by how highly engaged they are on reddit constantly doing their gayops and defending destiny in these weird obscure subreddits. They think it's really important - like the fate of the republic rests on who "wins" arguments online.

Being weak and stupid they get owned in their arguments, but they see Destiny dunking on people and start copying over his talking points and rhetorical style. Then they start raking in some Ws and dopamine hits, and once that starts happening they're just drawn in by the gravitational pull of destiny's "tallest midget"/"king of midwits" standing online.

Over time, they lean on the stream to not only "keep up with current events" but also to collect all the talking points needed to argue on reddit about it. Then suddenly you have a cult member who literally needs destiny's input in order to continue "winning" online "debates" - to protect our republic!

Add on top of that the years of purges (punishments) for wrongthink, the need for community that DGG provides, the radicalization of political discussion online and there you have the dgg genetic code mapped out.
