Culture Who Is the Butterface Girl: Howard Stern’s Demeaning Butterface Competition - Howard Stern and his fellow MTV judges were mean to this girl, now known as the Butterface girl, who has won over social media.

The video of the Butterface girl from Howard Stern‘s 2000s TV show has gone viral on social media. Stern and a bunch of other celebrities got together for MTV’s idea of a ‘Miss Buttaface Contest’, held in Las Vegas. The competition was to find the ‘ugliest’ woman with the best body, and the infamous show was held in front of a live audience in Las Vegas.

The first contestant of the show, only known as Stacy from the video, has gone viral, with fans slamming the judges and the audience for their reactions to her face. Many viewers criticized everything from the premise of the show to the derogatory comments made by the judges.

Many found it disturbing that women were paraded around in just their bikinis and made to show off their bodies, while a paper bag was used to hide their faces initially. When they eventually take off the bags, the judges and audience show no hesitation in expressing their shock.

Stacy, who is now known as the Butterface girl on the internet, was visibly upset at the reactions of the judges. She had to endure all the cruel jokes and antics from the judges and the audience. However, the internet has now found her face to be naturally attractive, and she has become the face of the internet’s positive meme culture.

While her identity remains a big question mark, some fans on the internet speculated that she was model Stacy Sanches, a former Playboy Playmate (via @SchoppingHauer/X). However, there are no reports confirming this, with some fans even rejecting the idea completely after comparing both their appearances.

The name of the competition itself is a play on the phrase, “But her face…”. The woman with the best body and the worst face was eventually declared the winner, and they won a cash prize of $25,000.

Howard Stern and the rest of the judges made objectifying comments about Stacy’s body before she lifted off the paper bag. Actor Rob Schneider went on to make the comment, “I gotta say, I know that she shaves her private region.” He also shared that he liked her a** tattoo, adding, “[It] gives you something to look at.”

Another judge, Robin Quivers, laughed when Ralph Cirella commented, “I want that body too.” One of the judges even made the request to have her remove her bikini top, which was turned down politely by Stern. It was something that would’ve got all of those judges cancelled in today’s world.

Stern commented that she had the perfect a** and br**sts. When she was asked to remove the paper bag, the crowd began booing and shouting at her. There were people in the crowd who pretended to vomit, while some others laughed hysterically. Other few could be seen putting their hands over their faces in disgust.

Judge Artie Lange laughed at her face, while Quivers asked, “Is that a speedbump on your head?” Stern told Stacy, “It’s got to be hard when the crowd starts freaking out.” He asked her whether it bothered her, to which she said no. He then asked the judges to rate her from 1 to 10, with 10 being ‘worst face.’

Cirella commented that she looked like one of the elves from Lord of the Rings. However, Stern was kinder than the other judges towards her face, sharing, “I think you’re pretty. I think your face is really nice.” A few other judges also pointed out that it wasn’t as bad as everyone made it out to be initially.

Despite this empathetic approach towards the end, fans still got the ick from the comments of the judges, the reaction of the crowd, and the whole premise of the show.

Ever since the clip went viral, fans have found it utterly disturbing. They called out Howard Stern and the other judges for casually demeaning women on the show. Some fans even went on to comment that the judging panel didn’t deserve to judge the physical attractiveness of these women.

One fan shared that the Butterface girl was “beautiful” and “gorgeous.” They shared that she had great curly hair, pretty eyes, and no makeup on, which was beautiful by today’s standards. Another commenter shared that she was “out of the league” for everyone making fun of her face in the video.

A third fan called it a horrendous time, noting that the beauty standards were narrowly acceptable. One fan shared that there was “hurt in her eyes” when the crowd booed at her. Another fan called out Howard Stern’s shows at the time to be provocative and edgy. Some of the comments read:

The video resurfaces at a time when Howard Stern’s $50 million contract with SiriusXM is reportedly coming to an end. According to one Daily Mail source, Stern has plans to retire from the business.

What do you think of the disturbing video of the Butterface girl?

Ironically, there's a picture of Artie Lang with his nose basically gone from all the coke. He looks marginally human, at best. And Stern himself would get pissed off on-air if anyone talked about wife # 2 as being a buttaface herself. I remember that quite distinctly.

But, yeah, these gals went into this with their eyes wide open and with full knowledge of what it was all about. If they thought it was demeaning, stupid, cruel, etc., all they had to do was say "no."

That's not a butterface.

Hell, I dare say that's a fairly attractive woman that just doesn't have makeup on.

Is this truly how bad our modern women have become? Have I forgotten what the standards were when I was 13?
I said this in the reddit thread but she is the type of girl who wears a face full of makeup on the daily and looks washed out because of it, and the ass studio lights accentuate that. She's not ugly, but she isn't my type.

Also Stern is a kike and his show got cancelled lmao

The worst she has is that the makeup team used the same shade across her face, making her face look flat and shiny.

This "article" is just a paid ad to remind people Howard used to be vaguely relevant in order to maybe help keep his "job".

Not even the good old pre-9/11 days of peak America but definitely a simpler time.

Top notch reporting by "Fandumb Wire".
Is this a psyop to promote Howard Stern or something? Why is this coming up now?
I thought it's more like kicking him while he's down. How bad were his satellite radio ratings or whatever prior to show cancelation?

My gut says that it's SirusXM trying to ruin his reputation so they don't even have to pretend to try and hire him back when his contract is up in the next year, or whatever. They said something like "We'll try to work out a new deal, but it'll be substantially less than the 100 million he's getting now". My guess is they don't want him saying yes to even 150k a year to try and stay on, and this (and a slow leak of other clips like this) will give them a reason to just run out the clock on his contract and part ways for good.
And to answer the rating question: they're in the 6 figures, down from the 20 million at his peak.

No way she wasn't pulling mad dick at after parties, frat parties, and concerts. The face ain't the worst and those knockers made up for it. Stern was always overrated and not all that funny but this was pretty dumb.

Howard raged at Sal for years over calling his midlife crisis trophy wife horse face. He is probably still doing it but his show has been unbearable for more than two decades now so I don't know if Sal is even still around. His rage at Artie for pointing out that he looks like a cartoon vulture is legendary.
He also used to go after K.C. relentlessly for the crime of being a 6/10 and openly seethed that Miss Howard Stern, an illiterate alcoholic whore, found him attractive.

It is weird that it would be this clip when there is thousands of hours of tape where he openly talks about his degeneracy. I remember him talking about going to the strip club (he did this constantly, and while married) wearing shorts and no underwear so he could rub his dick on drunk strippers who were younger than his daughters in the VIP room.

The West has very weird beauty standards. Either you have to be very ugly to be beautiful or a literal supermodel. The "Butterface" lady looks fine. A little ghostly due to no makeup, but that's expected. What the hell is wrong with people?

For South Korea, it's that you have to be a literal supermodel with perfect skin.

>trashy has-been radio guy whose only claim to fame is being an unapologetic scumbag
why am i supposed to care about whatever this retard does? all the content on these boomer shows is fake and scripted anyway, no matter if it's radio or TV. it's not worth anybodys attention.

also, these shows "outrage bait to stir up controversy and get rich and famous in the process" bullshit basically paved the way for current year clickbait journalism and online ragebait content. fuck all of them.
