If you think they will tolerate the same games being ran on them once they're no longer on the backfoot you are sorely mistaken.
As long as SCOTUS is able to maintain its air of legitimacy, it’s going to continue to chip away at the left’s power. Think about it, FDR was the pinnacle of true progressive ideology in America. The left has actually accomplished very little beyond that time, and any gains they’re making are being taken away. Home Rule for D.C. is not just a political maneuver but is also a fundamental aspect of Leftism: deferment of Constitutional powers to easily corruptible bureaucracies, and we are seeing it getting evaporated in real time.

Orca CEO bitching about visas

IMG_8054.webp

We just had an employee visa rejected. We spent about $8,000 on legal fees for the visa. Our plans for the territory include hiring locally (i.e., jobs), real estate (investment) and of course paying all associated taxes (tax revenue).I can't think of a single benefit to the local territory that results from this denial. Maybe I'm missing something? The reason for this post (beyond just venting!), is that this experience blasted my eyes wide open to how woefully unprepared the world's governments are for what's coming.I'm writing from Mexico City, where I'm making investment and hiring decisions around the globe. With zoom, Slack and other readily available tools, we can enter and exit territories with nominal costs and friction. We can choose immigration, labor and tax-friendly operational environments without sacrificing our ability to do business where the customer lives. On top of that, AI tools are going to make Zoom look like the pre-historic age.How far away are we from an AI video tool eliminating a foreign accent from a shoppable livestream? I would imagine that tool already exists, actually. OK, so there's a global livestream into any territory around the globe shot from wherever we want.If governments can't offer a competitive business environment, then the jobs, investment and tax revenue will just go elsewhere and the land borders really don't matter anymore.Think about that. Before COVID, as the transition point marker, we really did need to be in Los Angeles, New York, San Fransisco, London, Berlin, Sao Paulo, etc. to conduct business in large markets.Going forward, that's just not the case.

But he refused to give any details

‘It relates to the individual’ i.e. he either has a record or he illegally entered at some point and is barred from re-entry.

Lets be honest here, the US pols don't give a shit about Israel. What they do give a shit about is the very large sums of money the Jews throw to both sides to make sure Israeli interests come first.

Without the huge amount of Jewish money flowing into US politicians pockets no one in Washington would give 2 shits about Israel.

How much of that Jewish money originated from the taxes paid by US citizens though? Do you think a people with a reputation for being stingy with money are putting more in than they're getting back? Go ahead and pull my other leg while you're at it.

I don't hate Jews or think they're running some kind of global cabal, but I look at Israel like every other country and ask why a single dime of US tax dollars are going there. Any of the politicians talking about a duty to Israel can send as much of their own money as they want or send their own sons to die in their battles. Israel has a per capita GDP on par with Germany and higher than most European countries. They don't need any of our money.

Why do all of these global tech companies need visas to import third worlders for jobs that could be done from anywhere? If Indians are so great why not start a corporate branch in India and hire them in their own country?

Nah that was a poor showing for JD. Its one thing to say 'fuck your fishing permits' here in the states as a private citizen. Quite another to do the same thing as a political dignitary in a foreign country while all eyes are on you. Pretty low-class of him tbh
The Rule of law in bongland stops existing when it comes to brown pedophiles raping and grooming children but when a white guy fishes at a pond with a friend without a proper "loicense" then they decide to do their fucking job. Vance's only mistake was not telling the fag who fined him where he could shove it.

"High-class" in Britain means sending Pakis to the working-class areas to rape the girls there.

I dunno, boss. I've had a lot more zoomers and younger at my church lately. I've also seen a lot more of em wanting to get into self sufficiency, guns, less time on the internet and hookup culture, waxing poetic about how they wish they could say da N word to their buddies like the olden days. I think the shift is happening, don't doom your way out of it.
Time is neither a circle nor a straight line. The zoomers are becoming some kind of right wing, but I also wouldn't call it conservative either. (In fairness, I don't think conservatives of yesteryear managed to conserve a damned thing, so this may be the fault of that more than anything, but I digress.) It's definitely good it's not left wing, but I would fairly caution that this could just as easily be trendchasing in the hopes that if they believe hard enough in RETVRNING, things might get better. (I don't think it will. Postmodernist deconstruction is a cat out of the bag and I see a lot of people believing it's bad but I'm less sure how well people know why it's bad.

You go to church... remember the Parable of the Sower. The seed upon the rocky ground may have shown shoots, but once the sun came out and baked it, they were scorched for they lacked roots. Optimism is nice, but so is grounding it.

2 jeets in a truck made an illegal U-turn and killed 3 in Florida. it was caught on video but still no charges as of yet.

WPTV is learning more about a semi-truck crash that shut down the northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike in Fort Pierce on Tuesday.
The Florida Highway Patrol is describing the wreck as a homicide investigation after three people were killed.

The crash led to the shutdown of all northbound lanes for several hours, causing significant traffic delays.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol's crash report, a semi-truck was driving northbound in the right lane of the Turnpike as a Chrysler Town & Country minivan was traveling north in the Turnpike's left lane.

From the right lane, the semi-truck attempted to make a U-turn at an "official use only" turn-around area near mile marker 171, crossing in front of the vehicle in the left lane.

The driver of the vehicle was unable to avoid the truck, wedging the minivan underneath the truck.

Witnesses and law enforcement observed tire marks at the scene where the semi attempted the illegal maneuver during the middle of the afternoon.

Two passengers inside the minivan, a 37-year-old woman from Pompano Beach and a 54-year-old man from Miami, died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Chrysler, a 30-year-old man from Florida City, was flown to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The driver of the semi and the passenger, both men in their 20s from California, did not sustain any injuries.

WPTV spoke to Carlos Portela, a licensed truck driver with 25 years of experience and a manager at Centerport Inc., to get his thoughts on the wreck.

Portela expressed his belief that the semi driver was at fault.

"When you hold a commercial license, you're considered a professional driver, and you should know better," Portela said.

Portela emphasized the illegality of the U-turn.

"Nobody is supposed to use it except the Florida Highway Patrol and other emergency vehicles," Portela said.

He expressed concern over the severity of the situation, noting that if his drivers attempted a similar maneuver, "that would have been their last day."

Troopers are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the wreck.

"When you kill somebody, it's a big investigation. I mean, I've seen it happen," Portela noted while reflecting on the consequences the semi driver faces.

WPTV is seeking information from the Florida Highway Patrol regarding the identities of the two men in the semi, who reportedly sustained no injuries. As of now, no charges have been filed, and further details have not been disclosed.

you really can't hate jeets enough.
