I was taught about the two in high school and thought that Booker was the more reasonable one.
Not only was he the most reasonable and likely the one with the best ideas, but all the commie niggers after he died do their best to destroy his legacy.
Booker T. Washington's entire argument was that black people in the US ought to get educated, work hard, and become an ethnic group that white people could not ignore. If black people were doctors, business owners, lawyers, academics, politicians, engineers, and tradesmen, then white people would either have to deal with them as an established and respectable voting bloc or segregate further and leave black people to their own devices. Either way, Washington stressed self-reliance and flat out said that resisting white society was pointless because they're in charge. They can always fuck with you, but they can't fuck with you if you have a job, a family, and a community to back you up.
Washington was born a slave and he wasn't a house nigger, either. He worked the fields until emancipation at the end of the Civil War. Booker T. Washington was the example of a self-made man and was an exceptional individual. Then came WEB Du Bois, a Harvard-educated commie from Massachusetts who promoted socialism and anti-capitalist agitation. I cannot stress how much I hate WEB Du Bois and the rump-swabbing that elitist academic plagiarist faggot gets from limousine liberals to this day (he often "borrowed" from Frederick Douglass and others without citation). It's an absolute travesty that Booker T. Washington's political and economic ideas died with him and African Americans would very likely be doing a lot better now had his ideas taken hold.
Even during the Cold War, Du Bois continued to hang out with open communists (against the wishes of the NAACP, which he founded). This was after declaring, post-Pearl Harbor, that the US should not fight against the Japanese because they were rising up against white imperialists. The guy was a fucking cunt.
