I've never given Jim money and some of my favorite content of his have been his streams. Bohepans, Photon, Sped Dating, Danny the Panda, Goodbye Carl, the Queen of Pole and Nbomber streams, the bloodsports revival stream with Fuentes, the Odysee streams, etc. They all either show off a dumpster fire or some weird media/corner of the internet that I probably would have never known about otherwise, which is what his edited content did.

To the point that they worship and slurp up your fake laugh and stinky cigarette cough, cackling into the mic. And be willing to overlook all of your faults, bc the streamer made them feel good. Basically nothing but nostalgia and parasocial relationship weirdness. If you can't understand your own bias for this via Metokur, then pick another streamer and you'll get it. For instance, there are certainly simp-fags that are nostalgic about Gura or other shitty Vtubers. Not bc the content is good or bc the woman is entertaining. It's mostly very shallow boring content with 0 substance. But people will be nostalgic about it 'cause they encountered it when they were depressed or lonely. You can do this with anyone. There are probably people nostalgic about growing up watching Destiny or Vaush and they remember when they were in 9th grade watching Vaush or some bullshit. It's just gay and pathetic tbh.

I genuinely believe this is why he's laying low
The v-tuber stuff kinda gave people ammo against him for the first time in forever. Doesn't help that some of the more recent streams have been kinda weak so it makes it easier with blood in the water now.

No his streams were genuinely good back then, his onlyusemeblade and ip2 coverage, IBS, some of his edited vids etc. Were genuinely high quality entertainment. I'll admit most people watch his new streams from nostalgia of the old streams though, he hasn't really had a stream that wasn't a rehash of someone else's content in Jim's voice or politics/anime slop since ~2019

The vtuber tardtalk is from a loud minority, and not a soul is being fooled otherwise. The guy is either dead, recovering from nearly dying, or trying to figure out how to fit his new goy nose past the doorframe towards his desk from all the hats he sells.

It's pretty damning that Metokur has apparently sat there in silence since July 15th (it's August 6 now) and let his fans worry themselves sick about whether he's dead or alive. But the one online person he has told he's alive is a fat female Vtuber grifter named Kirsche. He doesn't care enough about his hardcore fans to update them but responded to Kirsche like a bitchass simp. It's just so indicative of modern, weak, diseased, brain-rotted 2025 Metokur.

Nah. If he was really dead I'd hope to hell his wife would monetize the hell out of that all over the place. There'd be more than one person who would know about it, for sure. Some vtuber isn't going to be the end all be all of knowledge, because no matter what the bit is, it dies with him and leaves him with a widow who - unless she's dumber than a box of rocks - knows she has a fucking payday to cash in on.

My particular favorite of his is the stream he did after Sargon released his ultimate disaster pity stream “Hello Jim”. Blown the fuck out indeed.
