By no means am I saying Jason is a genius, he isn't. He's above average intelligence (coding does take a fair bit of intelligence, even if his code is shit, and his penchant for manipulation can be seen as a sort of intellect as well), but only ever so slightly. He is the living embodiment of a "mid-wit". Smarter than average, but still not smart, wise, or clever enough to actually make use of that intelligence in any meaningful way. Mid-wit, through and through.

Intelligence and wisdom while counterparts, are not the same. Intelligence is book smarts, wisdom is the greater application. You can be an incredibly intelligent person, but dense as pig shit and inept in everything else from a lack of wisdom. Book smart, but 0 wisdom to speak of.

Intelligence and book smarts have nothing in common. Intelligence is one's capacity to learn and adapt to new situations and using new information to advance in a task. "Book smarts" is memorization. NONE of these things are Mald's strong suit, or else he would not CONSTANTLY be making the same fucking mistakes over and over again. You cannot be intelligent and dense. And Mald is neither intelligent, nor well-read. He is not book smart, he is not socially clever, and he is not wise. He's a retard, simple as.

If he was book smart he would have an actual QA job instead of larping about it.

And by the way, there are dumb developers. We call them code monkeys for a reason. Mald can't even reach that level of proficiency when it comes to SE.

I wish he gave him shit for being both a furry and a ferretfucking deviant, but I'm pretty sure Meat thinks "furry" is "person who has a hobby of going around in a fursuit who otherwise abides by self-imposed limits" and not "rabid ferretfucker." And I'm fairly sure furries are in his fanbase too since they grow everywhere like fucking roaches, so he wouldn't want to alienate that part of his audience. I like the layered metaphors and the sheer grotesqueness of how he portrayed him, but he definitely could've gone harder on him.

I do like the detail of the bogus breastfeeding code being more coherent than his actual code though :story:
