Yelled at in the park. (Positive)

Share Experience

I was in a park by my house today for a bike ride. After a long, sweaty ride I was nearing the end of my ride. A section of the park had some day camping areas, and there was a group of girls (10–12yo). As I rode by, the girls yelled at me “You’re really pretty”.

I’ve never felt so valid since the start of my transition. Those girls made me so happy, and I don’t think they know what it meant to me. Womanhood is amazing and I’m so happy to be a part of it. Needless to say I happy cried all the way back to my car.

Let’s see this pretty woman

He’s got three kids between 7-13. If he can’t spot tween girl sarcasm he better learn quick, because the next decade is going to be very entertaining.

(It’s cool, he has 50% custody and just told his ex-wife he was trooning out, who immediately said she’s going for 100% custody. Attagirl)

I mean, why would he? I have a kid the same age and I think I spoke French to him for the first time ever last week, because we were haggling with a moroccan guy.
Parents that speak anything but their mother tongue to their kids are cringe, you see these green hipster couples in my city sometimes where the dad speaks English to the kids in a broad local accent because the wife has decided that the kids are going to be bilingual good little globalists so now dad gets to have a relationship with his kids in a forgein toungue, that to me is a sure way to not have a close parent-child relationship.
Helping your kid learn a second language isn't a bad thing.

The other day I came into group and the first thing one of them said was "I see you went blonde, its good at hiding a receding line" in a "nice" sounding compliment
Hah! Well, that passes as female.

If the cost is not having a genuine relationship with the child it might be. These people do this thing where one parent speak one language to their children consistently, which is all well and good if they are a genuine multilingual couple, but it is a bad idea if it is not your first language, you are not going to be as articulate or well read, or able to talk about emotional things in a genuine way. If your realtionship with your dad is in Spanish and neither of you speak Spanish well, it is not going to be a very good relationship.

KEK

Keeping it contained by keeping it a bedroom game.
In 1965 it was true.
What broke the protocol was when acting out in public became a civil rights issue.
That and it’s just so much easier to escalate things in the internet age. Endless supply of porn/hypno shit, easy and discreet access to cheap slutty clothes and shoes big enough to fit a male frame, millions of like-minded toaster fuckers online to encourage you to continue vs. the handful of fucking weirdos you know about in your city.

Troonish gripe framed as being territorial.

i just want to be able to talk to my cis women friends (including my sisters) about the weirdness of hormones or whatever without them saying some smug welcome-to-womanhood-it-sucks bullshit.

all of these women are very supportive and i don't hate them or anything this is just one of those annoying things that even supportive women do that constantly reinforces the wall between them and me.

Unfortunately when it comes to supportive, pro-trans cisgender women, many of them still see themselves as the ultimate gatekeepers of womanhood, holding more authority on it than any transgender woman. This is a form of transphobia that many cisgender people agree with and do not see as transphobia.
Lots more discussion in the comments including a few long rants, but total consensus.
How dare real women think of themselves as being realer women than troons. :lit:

“I didn’t want to share this” Ok. Why did you share it, then? No one is forcing you, It would’ve cost you $0 to not share that. And now le transphobes are laughing at you - I can only assume this one has a humiliation fetish, that this was the intended outcome? Maybe we’re the ones being trolled into participating in their kinks

You'll also note that he say "between them and me", not us [transwomen]. Peak selfinesh even when they are among themselves.
