Finally caught up on the thread. You guys are going on every sidequest, from single-polygon tits to women's shoes/feet. Makes me think of that Second Life conversation where he mentions he likes knots and is neutral on paws. I bet he was the one to bring up feet in the first place. Disgusting degenerate.
One thing I've been meaning to say is that Jason is absolutely a low intelligence specimen. If he had five less IQ points, he wouldn't be able to answer the breakfast question. And this is something I've always genuinely wondered about
Dark Triad personalities - how much of a difference is there between a psychopath/narcissist with low IQ, and a psychopath/narcissist with high IQ? Because afaik it works a hell of a lot like autism, you get better and better at masking until you're a high-functioning autistic or a nondestructive psychopath, someone who can actually intuit and reason out what normal human beings expect.
In any case, Jason really is exactly like DSP in that aspect. Completely narcissistic, and too catastrophically retarded to know when to shut the fuck up - except in the instances where he can find a way to suck himself off, which is just about the only thing his pattern-seeking neurons seem to detect. Unlike DSP though, he seems to have at least 2 more IQ points and is far more socially-minded. I noticed something about the way he got mad about Khronos being targeted - that was one of the ONLY times he has a visible, emotional crashout, if not the only time. Normal humans would crashout over their family and friends being harassed, too... Except that normal humans would crashout over seeing a kitty not being fed or ferrets rolling in their own feces. Since he's not a normal human, but a narcissist who outright prides himself on "social engineering", I have one overarching conclusion.
My pet theory is that Narcissa Fagtree heavily ties his ego to his orbiters, rather than tying his ego to his own intelligence and hackerdaddy persona. He's not truly obsessed with numbers going up and faceless names cheering him on, though he certainly loves that. He's not honestly obsessed with being the smartest little smarmy cunt in the room, though he certainly loves that. But he definitely IS truly & honestly obsessed with the actual human beings he interacts with. All he needs is SOMEONE to act like he's not completely retarded. He doesn't really need that hackerdaddy image he projects onto the internet, so long as he has someone close reflecting that image onto him anyways.
So in his mind, more dicksuckers = more proof he's not a complete fuckup = more
narcissism points. Ergo, as soon as his closest ferretsuckers start having doubts, start leaving him for any reason at all, he'll go full panic control mode. An event like that will be the only instance in which he'll have an actual breakdown, I'm calling it... Not that it'll happen any time soon, though. Khronos is a mini-lolcow in his own right, and Shaye is basically a hostage held at
gunferretpoint. His narc supply is gonna stay pretty secure, right up until the ad revenue runs out and his shitty little goldfish tank explodes.
