Jason is completely humorless. He doesnt understand comedy at all, he simply emulates it and laughs when he thinks he's supposed to. I'm pretty sure it's just masking or social mimicking that autists do. One sign of this is his over reliance on puns. For a person who is completely tone deaf when it comes to humor, puns are a simple equation that anyone can understand due to how clear the rules are. And when he's not using puns, you get shit like pealing a banana with a hot dog inside it while doing a retarded voice, like if you asked a robot to do something silly.

I can guarantee you that none of his games (that he GM'd at least) ever lasted long enough to actually get to the point of self-insert DMPCs. Not because he wouldn't insert them if he could, but because he's the type of person to spend forever "homebrewing" the game, planning something out, doing a single session, then spending another few months doing "tweaks" to it. Of course, the full game never ends up happening.

At most his players only ever got a single small plot arc of 2-3 sessions before he took the game down to "adjust" things and then spent the next year updating them once every week or so about the Cool New Classes he added, until everyone forgot about it.

It's a kind of dumb solution though as opposed to voice training, because anyone he talks to in person would hear his normal higher pitched voice and would have info they can use against him.
Then again he is an idiot so maybe he would do it that way anyway.

Which still baffles me. If people were making AI animations of my life (ala familia DSP) I would be able to laugh at myself and find it hilarious. I don't know what it's like to have zero self-deprecation.

What I don't get about the cat thing, and yeah, old news at this point, whatever, is why not just say that you've already fed the cat, even if it were a lie, like what did he expect a cat to actively engage with him for? I'm assuminghoping it has a litter box, but if the cat wanted to go outside would he... just not open the door?

This is why Mald is so easy to hate. After siccing his own community on Quintheo's community he declares himself the victim with this swatting claim. It's literally "Mald cries out in pain as he strikes you," not even as a joke, that's what he's doing. Insane behavior, dude.
Dr. K plainly pointed out how this comes off and Mald still can't comprehend that it only hurts him. He always tries to make himself unassailable by escalating his victim status to the highest degree that amounts to: "My enemies tried to kill me so they are objectively evil and if you aren't 100% on my side then you're on the side of people who tried to kill me which makes you evil. You don't want to be evil, do you?"
