I like Sam but Harland Williams has to be the quickest wit I’ve ever seen. He is extremely silly and although he enjoys taking the piss out of people who take themselves too seriously I don’t think he has a malicious bone in his body. Two things can be true at once, Sam and crew got ratfucked by AS, and his show was a moderate success for an original property that was an absolute nightmare for the networks advertisers.

Look was the Call with Joe Bernstein fucking hilarous at the time? Yes, but in hindsight was it really the best thing to do while the network is getting hammered with bad press and advertisers are getting calls about how their product is funding a "nazi"? I'd agree that it was all a bad faith attempt to take him down, but that doesn't mean he had to chimp out and turn the cancelation percentage up from 75% to 100%.

The other thing that doesn't get brought up much is that it was extremely selfish for him
to publically self-immolate like that, WP wasn't just his show, and going off what Charls said in the past it really fucked him and Nick over that Sam was burning this bridge. Just like it was incredibly selfish and childish that Sam blew up this appearance on Harland's show because he felt like he was the butt of the joke, embarassing the rest of the crew in the process.
