What? Do you understand tens of millions of dollars? That is his future, regardless of what he currently has access to. Paying kids' college tuition? Even in the unlikely (given Nick thinks it's stupid) event they go to college, at most for 5 kids at elite schools (lol not happening) that would be max $350k per, or $1.75M. That's not much, relatively, but more importantly, a) they'll likely go to some shit like Nick's college, and b) Nick will lie and bullshit fafsa so they get aid.Nick's bankruptcy arc in a few years will be wild. He has no income that isnt oil money and he's shown time and again that he will spend outside his means and whatever the stipend he gets from the trust is.
Obviously the worst case was the moron blowing money on coke and a dumbass car and and shitty tattoos and retard art.
But do you think he will stop spending that money now that he doesn't have stream income? Of course not, he'd admitted he buys junk and hoards it.
What's Nick going to do when instead of giving him money to poorly raise his kids, mommy and daddy send cash to pay off the children's college tuition instead? Nick can't divert trust funds into his lifestyle if he doesn't get the money.
Unless Nick surprises us all and begins living frugally (and admittedly a very comfortable upper middle class lifestyle) he's cooked. He's going to start using again if not before probation is done then definitely after.
And if no one thought to put aside money for education ahead of time, they're morons (therefore a possibility).
Let's be honest: he doesn't live like someone with real money. Tells me he has a lot of free and unearned money, but not that much. Currently. He'll have much more in the future. He doesn't need to live "frugally."
