The grant is DEHS0000086.
So eagle research is not a no name group here, but the DOL grant was for their work with the DMV. That is probably the team that Maldavious was on. Their DOE grant. However, started in 2013 and ended in 2020 and did involve cybersec.
There is a caveat, though. Maldavious was hired and let go within one federal pay session. He may have been fired, or his clearance may have been denied. Looking through this, it paints the picture of someone who either A: acted like a blown hard and got the sponsorship for the clearance, then didn't get it due to something found in the investigation or B: he worked on the DOL grant.
I am of the opinion its B. The DOL grant fits his timeline much better, and doesn't require a clearance. The DOE Grant would almost certainly require L at the minimum. If he got L he only worked for ~6 months and was then either let go or told to resign. If it was Q there is no way he got the clearance or if he did he was only there for a month and something happened that made them let him go.
