Did anyone else archive the stream today ( 2025-07-08 )? I started a live download when I read people mentioning he disabled today's VOD. I checked the last few pages and didn't see anyone mention it.

Here it is on GoFile, 2.5gb@360p. It ends with a deliberate outro so it looks like I got the whole thing without problems.

Also, it seems VodRecovery is working on today's stream, there have been updates since last time I tried so either they fixed it and/or that one vod was uniquely messed up. I'm gonna snag today's in 720p both as a test and because this stream is juicy and that bit of higher quality may make the footage more usable.

Edit: 720p (15.7gb) version successfully uploaded into the same GoFile folder! Ready to distribute clips to your favorite sloptuber.

He privated the stream on youtube. I don't know if he's trying to hide his meltdown over Coding Jesus or something else, but I have saved the full stream locally. Too bad there's no quick way to find points of interest without the chat log.

yeah there's a lot of that shit around in the industry. first that comes to mind is the ff7 remake; people were actually expecting it decades ago when i believe there was a tech demo released for the ps3 just for shits and giggles apparently. forever and a half people just wanted ff7 with crisis core (psp ver) level graphics at least, where the models weren't blocks and you could easily see environments and where to go. but sqenixs response was always basically they wanted their current work to stand on it's own and not have to rely on remaking older games, basically something like they wanted to be known for more than ff7, and make something at least as good. which im surprised isn't a point that hasn't been brought up more worryingly when they suddenly decided to make every single ff7 game possible, remaster older ones, remake some, de-re-remake even lmfao, the number of which is on track to surpass the number of pixel final fantasy era games.

the issue with baldurs gate 3 is that in reality it just barely hit the mark for a game that was widely liked. there was still pozzloading in it, shit just had more dirt on it. there was tons of marvel/reddit humor everywhere, the racial dynamics were explicitly not accurate to any actual non fanfic lore, the way character choice was used, everyone wants to fuck everyone at all times so it'll be like you swear your undying love for someone then they'll talk about how big the black guys dick must be or some shit. several characters faces got a lite woke "hit it with a sledgehammer so trans people don't feel too scared" like shadowheart in particular when comparing her actual model to in game, they "for some reason" wanted to crimson chin that jawline. plus astarion being the most annoying fucking character and one of the shittiest fucking movie vampires i've ever seen, and i've seen the entire twilight saga as a back to back marathon. his alternate ending is just "alexa make me 50 shades of grey but im the main character and the love interest is a closeted vampire that tries really hard to be scary but at like a 7th grade goth level." and he's like the poster child and the actor acts like his opinions all now really carry weight or some shit, give me a break.

all people would ever have to do to ""compete"" or beat it, if we use it as a "but its TOOOOO HARRRRRD to make something NEEEEEEAARLY AS GOOD" is to get your pick of chudly white dudes that don't use social media and do their jobs and do it competently to just 1-1 remake dragon age: origins or fallout: new vegas, no added content. no ""fixes for modern era"", just make everything look modern. job fucking done. many bonus points if they somehow could go the extra mile and for like new vegas, get some original people back and help bring the original vision to life and do things like giving caesars legion several towns and more development instead of mustache twirlers.

the additional issue with what devs/publishers/cocksuckers like ps think is that none of their shit follows something like halo 1/2/3 where each game is a marked improvement or at worst a sidegrade unless you explicitly want to explore h1/2's world and story. if anything it's the opposite where with something like assassins creed 4, past that everything drops straight off a cliff and it's a grab bag as to whether something is decent or trash. with call of duty the entire formula was complete by bo2, everything else added is just novelty and then the quality just flies everywhere. if anything has GOOD quality, anywhere, then you have to also roll a dice for how fucky the staff is, which may include additions ranging from "body type 1-3" instead of gender, or having 8 love interests, of which consists of a whopping 1 straight male and 1 straight female. fucking NOBODY follows "ok, let's look at halo 2, ok players like this, they don't like this, let's fix this, let's make this better, let's throw in some wild cards that we've tested and think are a lot of fun and seem to work without fucking anything too bad, let's bring in some shit from 1 that people really missed". instead it's "ok lets literally make it gayer as first priority, second copy paste twitter hasan grade copypasta beliefs, third let's add in that bug eyed 90 year old black woman as a main role"

AFAIK this was the recent video that opened the gates for other devs to make videos focusing on Mald's code.
OP is a furry so likely there's some drama. I had it opened on a tab a couple of days ago and it was already down.
