Holy shit everyone already knew that she was too dumb to have any serious political beliefs already but it just clicked for me. We thought she (and her gimp by extension) were trying to play to the lefty crowd as a bpd identity crisis, globbing onto the popular new thing with Anisa's favorite demographic, women 10 years younger than her. But it doesn't totally make sense since that whole thing has been declining for years already. Breadtube is dead, Antifa is dead, Hasan was dead until he got a nice gracious holy war to become the poster boy for, Kamala Harris is dead ans raped in a ditch. Now I'd believe Anisa is too captured by whatever 10 tweets load first on her home page to notice any of this, but what if her reasoning is even more shallow. What I'm building towards is I think she hates the US for non political reasons because she wanted to live with her mom instead of her husband and so she united forces against her BPD enemy with anyone else who hates America. Most importantly, I think she realized that the political angle was the only one that would get Ian to hate America alongside her and finally grant her escape. She didnt radicalize Ian because she's radical, duh, she's dumb as rocks and knows as much about what's going on worldwide as the Amish. She sent Ian to reeducation as pure manipulation so she can bake cookies with mama.

It's comparable to like Missouri or some cities in Ohio. It's kind of a bumfuck middle of nowhere city that snows for half the year so all the houses have water damage. I've only been there once and it was late march, still snowing and every car I saw had rust damage. The main issue is the fact that you have to drive through miles and miles of nothing and then suddenly you're in the next big city (Calgary) which is 10x nicer and not much different in rent. Still also in bumfuck nowhere but hey at least they don't have rats in Alberta.

For a Californian like Ian, it's probably pretty hellish.

How desperate would you have to be to sign up to fight in this thing now? You have no time to train so it's going to be a shitty (and dangerous) fight. The last event was a huge failure. It's had incredible negative publicity. It's already failed once and it hasn't even happened! I wonder if Anisa isn't totally divested from this as she claims? Peachjars is one of her OF friends and has a relatively large following and I can't think of any reason for her to sign up except Anisa somehow convinced her to.
 
Genuinely how is Ian going to survive (at least) six months in Canada?

I knew a southern european who had to spend two weeks in Sweden and he said he'd never felt such deep depression in his entire life, which i imagine is the equivalent of a californian moving to Canada.

And now imagine on top of that being stuck with Anisa and Maureen as well.

He is unironically confined to a mattress in a basement. He doesn't even know what season it is. It makes no difference to him what the weather is like. He recently posted that all a person has to do to stop feeling depressed is touch grass occasionally, and he's being literal because every few days his wife allows him to get some sunshine and fresh air outside.
I am posting his actual life it's not a bit.

Maureen is legitimately insane. I don't think this can be overstated. From her moderating her daughter's titty stream, to getting in fights and threatening froggy fresh. She's absolutely bonkers. She definitely passed down some of the mental illnesses that effect Anisa as well as her IQ. And now Ian is living in HER house. That is not a good position to be in. If he ends up pissing her off, which he will 100% there's almost no way to avoid crossing a mentally ill woman like her, it's over for him. He'll be in a living nightmare. The everpresent dark and cold of a Canadian winter will make it even worse.
