This is very interesting considering the recent assassination of Democrat lawmakers in Nick's very state of Minnesota

It’s quite jarring and histrionic how he shifts from a frothing, raging lunatic towards each and every one of his detractors, only to then post these “boo-hoo, pity me, I wanted to eat a bullet” messages.

I think we're seeing a narcissist's character structure close to breaking down. The thrashing between attack and victim-playing (itself an attempt to avoid responsibility) is a symptom of being cornered. We may be on the cusp of seeing some real honesty from Rekieta. Or, resorting to violence as the last act of the cornered animal.

Nick appears to be blaming Bob for how he turned out in the posted Tweet, but all signs point to Nick's narcissistic mother Celeste as the one who created the monster that is Nick today. If Nick has NPD, and I believe he probably does then this is a form of projecting blame on the weaker parent.
As far as I know Nick has never said a peep derogatory about his mother. Narcissists often idealize their narcissistic mothers so they can maintain the illusion of the perfect family unit no matter how fucked up their childhood was. Nick was clearly coddled and spoiled rotten by Celeste. And this could explain Nick's sister becoming a lesbian and moving far away from the family as the "scapegoat" In other words Nick was probaby the "golden child" aka a "mama's boy" Nick never separated from mommy and became an individual like normal mentally healthy children do, so every relationship he has is about finally discarding his "mother" It's not a complicated dynamic if you really study and think about it. Kayla is Nick's mother, and he tried to turn April into his mother so he could discard her in his mind too. Think Norman Bates relationship with his dead mother in Psycho.

In other comments I've refered to the Nick in my life ("MyNick") and the ominous parallels between two. Interestingly, MyNick has a similar situation as you describe (if not your conclusions, at least the setting): Passive father, energetic doting mother, lots of money, and a sister who left the picture (in this case, not become a lesbian but to become a nun). MyNick seeks his mother in each of his failed relationships, treating them all extremely badly as he spirals out into addiction each time which has been the death knell of each relationship. It's as though he has a hatred for women in general and his mother in particular that manifests as mistreatment of each spouse, even as he demands doting attention. As though his expecation of women is his life are in doting servitude when they're "good" and targets of withering mental abuse and screaming fits when they're not. Never is it a marriage of equals, and never once is it his fault. Just a trail of broken hearts and psyches. And yet, to his mother, MyNick was the golden child.

In what I hope is not an ominous parallel, MyNick's sister's problems arised when, as an infant, she was sexually abused by her older brother MyNick, abuse that continued (at least mentally-emotionally) through adolescence. That's MyNick, what a guy. The inability of the family to do anything about it led to her eventual exit, seeking the calm order of being a nun, swearing off sex, relationships, and intimacy altogether. She will never know the joys of parenthood. I pray this is where Nick and MyNick differ, but the parallels between one leaving to be a nun and one leaving to be lesbian are at the very least, thought provoking.

Why DIDN’T he kill himself? He’s caused a massive amount of wreckage that he has no intention of even trying to repair. His kids would have been immeasurably better off if Nick had ended his life prior to meeting the Imholtes, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late for him to do them the kindness of preventing himself from doing even more damage. PPP had a real valid point when he said that instead of listening to Mama K, getting some insight on what might be happening in his kids, Nick went scorched earth, attacked her. And in so doing, Nick ignored a valuable insight into what may be going on in his children during his drama.

- He went to one of the worst law schools in state and even then he needed some special help to get in. The most difficult requirement he had to meet in terms of law school was paying for it and supporting his family while he was doing it. The evidence suggests he didn't pay for it and didn't support his family while he was in law school. Others did. Just as others bought him the houses he was living in.
- In his case, opening his own practice was rather expensive. He had his own office in town and had an admin working for him for a while as well. Those things cost money and he didn't provide that money. Again others almost certainly did.

Back in the early days when Rekieta was pretty well-regarded, it always seemed like his job situation didn't quite add up. Small businesses eat up a LOT of time and energy and it was weird that he seemed to have no job-related time constraints at all despite having a large family and a (at the time) small Youtube channel that he spent most nights on.

My suspicions were confirmed in the most horrible way possible.

Psychology observation.

Really wish people would stop trying to pathologise Nick and his behaviour. Most people that do bad things are just bad people, giving people diagnosis just makes it seem like they're not entirely in control of the their actions when in reality they likely are.

Nick does not have ODD, NPD, OCD, BPD or ADHD, he's not a psychopath, sociopath or depressed, he's just a selfish, arrogant, nasty little man who's had all his worst traits amplified by a mixture of chemical abuse, bad decisions & an overabundance of praise for doing practically nothing of note his entire life - were the banality of evil made into a sculpture, it would look like Nick.
