I'm all for the riots stopping. My problem is that Donald Trump is very intentionally trying to escalate shit so he can wring out a week of headlines to feed his culture war slop hungry fanbase.

Had he not laser focused in on whatever 50501 protest this was, it would've dissipated and they all would've gone home once work started in the morning on Monday.

None of this is in good faith, nothing about Trump's immigration policy (or financial policy or otherwise domestic policy) is done in good faith. It doesn't matter how many illegal immigrants get sent away, all that matters is that it's done in the messiest way possible for maximum media viewership.
