I only included that so people didn't get the impression that the common sensibilities was the only consideration before the court on releasing the footage. Nick's implications certainly helps that balance be more in favor of releasing it compared to the harm it may do Nick in my estimation as well.

I wouldn't be shocked to discover that a LEO acting under the authority of Kandiyohi County held down Nick's minor child and injected her with a solution containing cocaine, using a hypodermic needle and cocaine that was stolen from the police evidence room. There's really no way of knowing without seeing the video.
I know it is a popular theory that the Prosecutor is corrupt and the Sheriff is corrupt but I think the actual issue is none of them want to be sued by Nick which actually something he would totally do. He'd lose obviously but it is expensive and painful.
