I did a little bit of digging on Twitter and found a few tiny things on FaggotDeer/Ethan by going through old tweets that mentioned him. As a reminder for the furries lurking in this thread, this information is here for informative reasons only. I do not condone going out of your way to contact any of these people. Since I don't expect anyone to take this advice, I've elected to crop their names out of these screenshots, but it's uncensored in the links.

Anyways, I was able to track down the source of Ethan's Twitter and Discord icon to this Twitter artist, who claims they drew it as a gift for him in June 2024. Unfortunately, I feel like the icon might be a dead end. I was hoping that the artist might have posted it elsewhere and linked to another of Ethan's accounts, but they seem to only be active on Twitter and Instagram. I also ran the image through FuzzySearch (a reverse image search tool for furry art), but I got no results.

Another user who makes 3D models of cars also completed a commission request for Ethan in April 2024. Some random furry ween also decided to tag the modeler after Ethan was arrested, and they responded:

Unrelated, but this might be a more insane take than the guy who screamed "fuck cops". Not sure if this is bait of if the guy really is this retarded, but I think he should kill himself either way. The driver of the van that was hit was not a 15-year-old, but an adult male who was about 40.

I gave it a shot myself too. I can't really find much except everyones least favorite web "archive" has over 100 pages of his tweets archived. Too much shit to go through and it is so hard to view it all. I couldn't find anything interesting but if anyone else wants to give it a shot here. It would be great if I could lookup by site and keyword since these are all JSON files but the waycucked machine has terrible functionality. Most of his content seems to just be shitty memes.

Thank you for that. I always forget that Archive catches tweets. I took the time to go through the last 200 tweets of his that were archived. I'm not going to go through all of them, but his tweets from the last two weeks before the crash paint a very concerning picture. There's an alarming number of tweets devoted to alcohol, depression, questionable driving, and mentioning that he drives a Dodge Caravan (the same vehicle mentioned in the news article as being responsible for the accident).

I'm going to put these in chronological order: First off, here are some notable tweets from May 8-11:

This batch covers tweets from May 11-15

This was his final tweet (or at least the last one that was archived in time), made roughly 20 hours before the car crash. Hopefully, he gets lots of "cuddles" in prison.

So, what I am reading is this guy was a depressed wage-cage alcoholic at 19 and probably drunk-drove more often than not but instead of driving into a tree, he takes out three kids. What a fucking shitshow.

How prevalent are eating disorders within the Furry Fandom?

When browsing through Twitter and Bluesky I keep seeing an over abundant amount of very skinny Furries, which leads me to ask how prevalent is Anorexia, Bulimia, and Obesity within the Furry Fandom? Are many Furries purposely not eating enough just to try and look petite? I thought perhaps the high price of groceries might be a reason, but these same curries seem to be able to afford numerous commissions of artwork of their Fursona, so that cannot be the case.. Then you have just as many Furries who sit at their computers, snacking all day, without getting any exercise. Do many Furries not worry about their health? Furries seem to be on the extreme end of a healthy lifestyle, being either extremely skinny or enormously overweight.

Actual reply
a lot of the Fandom is very insecure outside their fursonas, this is well known. People with eating disorders often have a lot of body insecurities as well. Talking objectively without the debate or drama, the Fandom is often seen as an escape from things like that. As for not worrying about their health, a majority of most active furries at the moment are early-late gen-z, who are riddled with many issues for numerous reasons which includes not carrying about physical health, be it from struggling with depression or some fetish

One thing that's well documented is that Social Media platforms (especially TikTok) tend to display a lot of content promoting Eating Disorders, including how to become deathly thin via laxatives, weight loss injections, vomiting etc. As Furries are terminally online, and all parts of their lifestyle is over-sexualised, I don't think its any surprise the amount of dangerously underweight furries claiming to be "femboys" and such.

He did DFE, but then restored his account. Apparently very briefly because he's DFE'd again.
On top of DFE, he apparently added a psychotic break with potential domestic violence to his repertoire. He supposedly made a threat on the life of the artist he lost his shit over which culminated in cops from two different states being involved and a bunch of cops rolled up to Incorgnito's house for a safety check.

Bonus points for reporting them to PayPal and getting their account suspended because of all the porn commissions.

I can't pull screenshots at the moment as I'm on my phone, so if anyone else has the time, energy, and desire, that would be appreciated.

Totally rational behavior from a 60 year old (archive is useless because they've got their account set to only be visible when logged in)

Mark my words, furries will be the "next wave" of the culture war. The amount of grade-schoolers complaining about furries at their school is unprecedented.
I live in a rural-ish area (biggest city here is around 45k people, state has a lot of elderly people, farms, and poor rural areas), and we have furries. So I think you might be on to something.
Rate me MATI, but if someone got arrested for a DUI that killed three children and your immediate reaction is to say "fuck cops", then I seriously think you should consider chugging a bottle of drain cleaner.
I think "pathological loyalty" is a thing and part of how furries got so awful.
They evolved out of the SFF Fandom back in the "slan shack" days, when fans decided that "fans are slans" - more evolved, smarter, better versions of humans, the word "slan" came from a novel- and they were so much better and cooler than the "mundanes" that they had to live together in "slan shacks". Also, just like the "slans" in the novel, the mean awful normies Stacies Chads "mundanes" persecuted the poor slans who dindu nuffin. Imagine being so fart-huffingly arrogant that you see a highly-evolved fictional race of superbeings and go "that's me". Now imagine being so insecure that you think your coworkers at your 1950s job not giving a shit about your latest copy of "Amazing Stories" is persecution, and also thinking that these same coworkers are so far below you that you can't relate to them at all, you need to shack up with your fellow "slans". Also, as much as your interest in sci-fi tales of the "slans" and their adventures fills you with joy, you're a little ashamed of your interest. That shame makes you spiky. That push-pull between arrogance and insecurity, comraderie and shame, is why nerds act so awful sometimes. If you don't get a handle on it you could end up defending drunk drivers on Twitter because the children they killed were probably just dumb normies anyway and you must never betray your fellow furs.

Part of furry is hating your (perfectly normal, healthy, human) body so much that you want to inhabit a new, non-human cartoon body via escapist fantasy. Add the influence of body-image-obsessed Grindr-gays and you have a recipe for a bunch of anorexic boys. Fetishists spend all their brainpower zeroing in on one particular body part instead of seeing human beings as connected wholes, so that probably adds fuel to the ana-chan fire as well.

I really don’t know anything about the impact of AI on artists, and it is kind of shitty for this person to rip off Thorwolfs art using AI. But, given that Thornwolf is a gatekeeping, passive aggressive and snobby little bitch, I am thoroughly enjoying all of her saltyness and butthurt over this.

And of course, the icing on the cake is, the original art isn’t that good to begin with, at least my opinion. I swear it looks like some of the low end, street fair, vaguely “environmentalist/ecology“ art that some college student would buy for their dorm back in 1978. And then keep in their tacky apartment for the next 20 years after they graduate.

And really the message that I’d like her and every other furry artist to take two heart is: you are obsolete.
