While I do agree with the consensus that Anisa is most likely the reason Ian did his content cop against h3h3, I do wonder if that’s giving Ian too much credit as a “victim”.

You gotta wonder if Ethan’s success soured on him about how happy and succesful he was. It’s hard too understate how much money Ethan has been making trough out the years. Ian was succesful but Ethan far outclasses him.

Perhaps he did envy him and this is the first time he felt confident to stop pretending he was happy about his “friends” success.

This, one key thing I heard Ian say in that extended cut of him being the raped with Picard Benz was that Ethan and Hila were “moving away from friends and leaning more into money.” Is this true? Probably to some extent sure (they live in LA ffs), but to me it just read as deep-seated resentment of Kleins because they were able to diversify and exist in the current landscape of YouTube today by adapting and overcoming the fact that like… you can’t even curse bro while all Anisa and Ian done is piss away their money. It may not be the material goods that the Kleins can afford that are pissing him off (Ian always used to be a pretty frugal guy), but I’m sure Ian often stresses over how his bank account is going nowhere but down.

thats because Ian is a boring, lifeless husk of a man. he even manages to make Hasan look decent in comparison, because at least Hasan seems somewhat knowledgeable and passionate about what hes talking about even if his opinions are retarded, unlike Ian whos just hopping on a trend. i’ve only seen a few clips, but he looks so submissive and uncomfortable next to Hasan. he truly looked like a creepy little cuck staring at his bull in admiration. he sold his soul to be a lapdog to a man who couldnt give less of a fuck about him, while his old peers (Max, Chad, Joji, Ethan) actually make entertaining content.

But first - please, if you post updated of the fundraiser, write the word "fundraiser" in your post or something (otherwise it is impossible to find in this thread which is 90% random comments making fun of Ian) and/or archive (... or at least take a screenshot of also the breakdown of the individual fundraisers, so we can know how much is Ian raising directly) :)

Onto the update:
We know Hasan raised money, and it has been talked about. I don't care about Hasan. I care about how much our empathic boy Ian has raised for charity.

At the last archived time, on 1st May (before Content Deputy)
  • Total: $29,986
    • Ian: $15,243
    • Ieezi: $7,195
    • Therefore, donations to the Event itself are: $7,548
Currently, three days after Content Deputy
  • Total: $225,088 (without Hasan: $34,205)
    • Hasan: $190,883
    • Ian: $15,263 (+$20)
    • Ieezi: $7,195
    • Therefore, donations to the Event itself are: $11,747 (+$4,199)
So, a total of $700 on average per day was raised (without the contribution of Hasan).
Since my last update, there was more raised per day; now it will only take almost 4 years to reach $1m (without Hasan), before it was 5 years!
Based on previous estimate of $26 on average, per donation, this corresponds to 162 new donations (or donors, it is fair to assume -- although I think now it is more likely that there were repeats).

There is nothing that stops them from donating also from what they will get from PPV/ticket sales (well, beside the fact that they will be in the red). However they have a separate fundraiser, and that is 100% (-Tiltify commission, idk how much) going to charity.
It can still be argued that H3 ruined it because it is now tied in controversy... it can be argued, but that argument cannot be won because it is Ian who started it.

I also want to point out that he did not even donate to his own fundraiser, only to Hasan, so after he was called out by Ethan. (Leaderbord here).
Also, in the past two weeks, excluding Hasan fundraiser, there were only fewer than 200 new donations per week. That is insanely low. In this post I showed the numbers for 1 week, which includes the period after the Content Deputy, and it is less than 200!!

Since Hasan decided to open his own fundraiser (which feeds into the total, but is also listed separately), we can deduce how much is being donated to each "page". Ian is not doing so well

Well for one it attempts to remove criticism by raising money for a charity. And for two, it is used as a bludgeon to hit Ethan with, although it doesn't really work when Ethan has donated and supports the charity fundraising. Which is why Hasan was so angry and demanding to know why he only dropped pocket change and insulted him
 
I'll take my clocks if this has posted before (thread moves too fuckin fast) but I got this recommended to me this morning and it's not bad. The first time I've actually seen some longer parts of idubbbz's response video and it's fucking sad what a shell of a person he's become.
