She's a careful pronoun-respecter, so careful that she can criticize the gender-anointed for their other behaviors, and those bona fides have let her get interviews with flighty primary sources. Even if the shitlord viewer is frustrated that she's humoring a troon, you have to admit that it's the obscure web gossip version of buying a cheeseburger combo so the killer will tell you where he buried the heads. She isn't afraid of moderate research, she's cited KF with only a brief disclaimer before, and she just openly bought Archives on SA so she could start mining classic forum drama.

A Strange Aeons video on Alpacawitz would be without 41% of the drama we're used to if she removed the troon content, but there's still enough slumlording, animal abuse, gun brandishing and financial mismanagement that a short documentary wouldn't be a Garfield Without Garfield situation. It'd just be the "find a stranger in the Alps" broadcast version of Lebowski. And it'd get those views.

I don't think anyone's going to see the raw footage; the Tranch was a failure, so anyone wanting to waste hours and hours on documenting it is going to be suspected of anti-troon motives and denied access. (And unless someone thought they'd make something sensational, why bother with it?)

I just meant that Strange Aeons seemed most likely to make (and get away with making) an hour-long video on the rise and fall of the Tranch out of the mainstream puff pieces, acres of tweets, and possibly getting a couple of the FtM field serfs to video call her.

In retrospect TUR was Peak Troonery, when everyone was willing to hand out massive amounts of money to random Internet strangers. Now that it's collapsed something like that will never happen again.
