Rekieta's life is without meaning if he hasn't got a male 'enemy' to obsess about. And his obsession is all consuming. We've seen him do it with Null, with Eric July and with Aaron. I'm sure there were other men who had the same function before hand. They occupy his consciousness, front and centre -- and when his obsession reaches a peak, he'll probably go and crank one out as he thinks about them and then the obsession will subside to manageable levels again for a while.
Rekeita reminds me of a politician who's been sent to jail. Once they get a taste of porridge, all of a sudden, they become massively concerned with how appalling penal policy is and the state of the prison system. The useless cunt never gave a flying fuck about drug policy before he got his collar felt. Now he's fallen foul of the law, all of a sudden it's the number one injustice that faces the American polity.
What a rank, stinking hypocrite this man is. The only important policy issues are the ones that impact on ME! He knew what the law was. He knew what the penalties for breaking the law were. He chose to ignore all that and break the law anyway, believing that he wouldn't get caught -- because by and large, nobody gives much of a fuck about personal use unless you force them to do so. If the police wanted to make arrests for possession, they could sit at the dealer's spot and scoop people up in their dozens, all day every day.
But Rekieta forced them to act by going on line, streaming while he was wasted out of his brain and seemingly responsible for the care of his children. After he'd already been brought to their attention by the pastor at their church, complaining about swinging and child neglect.
So stop blaming the police or drug policy, you lazy obnoxious cunt. There's only one person responsible for the consequences you brought on yourself and that's YOU!

This seems like a large probation office for a county of 43k residents.....I feel so sorry for the person who got Nick. I checked 8 names on the list and they are all listed as probation officers.

It isn't clear.
Drexel was getting into "the lifestyle" while Nick and Kayla were still in college. This was also when Nick initially took the blackface picture. Fun fact: the blackface picture was Nick dressing up like Drexel, who was also visiting at the time (Drexel had hair then).
Also, here is an image from Drexel's Discord where he showcases him and the Rekietas going to a fight together in 2014, which would be after Drexel became a parent. It seems they still made time for each other.
They may have met less frequently during this time, but it is doubtful that they ever lost touch completely prior to Drexel's first appearance on Nick's show. If they did, it was likely nothing that a quick phone call couldn't fix.
