Damn, I'd be real pissed if I hadn't spent the four years of pauses saving up money to be able to pay back a significant portion if not my entire loan once collection restarted.
You don't think anyone actually just sat around spending every dime with no repayment plan in place, do you?

@Party Hat Wurmple

Was coming to basically post this with relevant social media cringe sperging. Wonderfully said.
What that dipshit doesn't seem to understand, is exactly that has been happening at the state level for close to two decades now. Leftists have been acting without any threat of consequence in states they control and have passed and continue to pass gun control without any shred of resistance from the right. "imagine if it was the other way around!" They do not care, they have the upper hand now, and you're too much of a spineless faggot to simply say no and stop them. The sooner weak Republicans die off the better.

Honestly, how was Roe vs Wade overturned again? Feels like it should've been impossible seeing the current state of the judiciary.
roe v wade had been primed for 50 years to be a holy hand grenade (((they))) could pull out at any time to wreak havoc and stop any political or social movement in its tracks. that's why the ruling was leaked. it was purposefully meant to be a media circus

i can only assume that it happened during the Biden administration because they not only wanted to nuke Trump's legacy by making his supreme court nominees responsible, but everyone in the right circles knew that Biden was absolutely not capable of running again despite what him or DOCTOR JILL thought. pulling out the abortion trump card was going to get them past Biden's failures and push the democrats back into the white house and congress so they could make up for lost time in their globohomo schemes. it had to happen midway through the presidential cycle to get the hit pieces lined up

however, not only was Kamala was such a terrible candidate that she lost all swing states, abortion didn't end up doing the damage (((they))) thought it would. this was most directly seen in Nebraska which had two battling ballot measures: one to keep the current limit of one trimester, one to go back to the 22 week limit. the ballot measures with the most votes would win out, and the ballot measure banning 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions won. the polling seems to be accurate: even "pro choice" women do not want elective abortions to be available after the first trimester, and often not even for retard babies

abortion activists have made it their mission to go back to the 22 week limit everywhere but they keep failing because that's not actually a popular goal. @mold keeps mentioning the sepsis deaths but that will fall flat as well because not only have people started tuning out the exaggerations and half truths of abortion activists, Texas is a bad argument because either:

- you're a liberal and you already think Texas is a backwater shithole
- you're a conservative and you think Texas' sepsis deaths are obviously from how many niggers and illegals are inflating the numbers

making the argument that some people will care no matter what is probably partially true, but in the end a fully republican controlled congress hasn't jumped into a national abortion ban, the states that want abortion already have it, and women are virtueless beings who don't actually care about what happens to other people as long as they personally feel protected and safe

when the dust settles in another few years abortion will be yet another nuclear option the democrats chose that will bite them in the ass because they've lost a big bargaining chip. as long as republicans don't go back to being loser cucks who try to pass national abortion bans, anyway

How is Talenti a good brand when it's loaded with gum syrup? The only ice cream brand that is actual fucking ice cream you can make at home now is Haagen Dasz. All the others use 3-5 different gum syrups to stabilize their ice cream slop.
Agree on Talenti but there are actually a few decent brands. Straus, and ice cream for bears both have normal ingredients. I've seen a few others but don't remember the names since I usually just make my own anyway.

US pharmacy chain Walgreens has agreed to pay up to $350 million in a settlement with federal authorities over allegedly invalid prescriptions it filled, and sought payment for under health care programs.

Walgreens was said to have “illegally filled millions of invalid prescriptions for opioids and other controlled substances,” the Justice Department said in a statement Monday.

The chain later “sought payment for many of those invalid prescriptions by Medicare and other federal health care programs.”

The settlement amount was $300 million and is based on the company’s ability to foot the bill — but Walgreens will owe an added $50 million if the firm is sold, merged or transferred before 2032.

The prescriptions in question were filled between approximately August 2012 through March 2023, the department said.

They included “prescriptions for excessive quantities of opioids, opioid prescriptions filled significantly early,” alongside that for an “especially dangerous and abused combination of three drugs known as a ‘trinity.'”

Walgreens pharmacists were said to have filled the prescriptions despite clear signs that there was a high chance they were invalid due to lacking legitimate medical purposes and other issues.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi said the Department of Justice is “committed to ending the opioid crisis and holding bad actors accountable.”

Walgreens has also entered into agreements with authorities to address its future obligations in dispensing controlled substances, with further compliance measures.

So why did
The Ottoman empire had slaves, and had currency, this reads from someone who knows? Shit about the ottoman empire other than they were Muslim and just bases his jerk off fantasy off of that.
So why didn't the enlightened muslim's do it then? Thats something I like to ask people who complain about colonialism. If not Europeans, who, and then, why didn't they?

you hear that thunder
there should really be an audit system or something where if a college keeps producing worthless degrees that don't help a majority of the people who get them, the government stops approving financial aid or grants to that school.

there is no reason to continue supporting this garbage university system that's taking advantage of dumb 17-18 year olds. it's a terrible situation for everybody involved except the universities (that are also getting our tax money, BTW)

It's impossible to sell ice cream in a grocery store without stabilizers. When unstabilized ice cream melts in transit and is later refrozen, it forms ice crystals that destroy its texture.

Häagen-Dazs uses egg yolks as its stabilizer, which makes it technically frozen custard, not ice cream.

Police letting MS-13 trafficers go. Presidents inviting them over the border. Judges housing them. Senators going to El Salvador to free them. Mayors housing them in hotels. It honestly seems like parts of the government are legitimately in bed with the gang.

Did anyone have an Easter dinner that was free of political talk? My was for the most part, but I did have to listen to my parents and their retiree friends complain how expensive things are getting because of tariffs. They also rhetorically asked who is going to do all the jobs that are coming back to America because "all Gen Zers do is sit around playing Minecraft."
Mine wasn't, but my parents are slightly to the right of typical Boomercons. I told them about that story of that Indian getting a denied a visa to vacation in Florida, they laughed at the thought of a Jeet with a girlfriend in Florida. I'm trying to steer them away from Vivek, but I don't know if I'll have any luck. Pray that God smites that motherfucker for me Kiwis, Ohio needs your energy.

And for all the bitching American's get for not getting other cultures' foods correct, the Mexicans can't cook an edible hamburger or french fries to save their lives.
The Belgians can get Fries right, but I'm convinced the only non-Americans that can get burgers right are the Japanese, and even then not always. Depends on what their autism focuses on. Euros think breaded chicken on a bun is a burger and then lecture us about a food that was invented by Ohioans and popularized in Hamburg, New York. You're welcome, by the way.

Is this China's final warning?
The funny thing is that Vietnam at least has wanted to work with the US on security matters for a long time, it probably doesn't take much convincing to get them on Team USA. The Jungle Asians hate the Chinese, it's been a thousand years of Ching Chongs slamming into the jungle and getting their asses beat.

I'm gonna shill our local brands of Graeter's and Aglamesis Bros. Pricy, but they will ship, both are pretty fantastic, especially Aglamesis's Egg Nog when it's in season. Their chocolate is pretty good too. I'm not gonna make any promises, but ending dates with Graeter's has always ended well for me. Just something to consider.

What's the problem with gum syrup? I looked it up and it's simple syrup with Acacia tree sap added to give a "silky" texture. Doesn't seem that bad? Genuine question.

Thanks for calling out Haagen. Maybe I'll give them another shot when the weather gets hot again.
