So all of the badly drafted motions by Nick's side that completely failed in court somehow forced prosecutors to give Nick a great deal. And if anyone calls out Barnes on this, he will just come with a new story about how he was right all along.

And in Barnes world, any charge that was dropped in the deal was obviously a charge where Nick was going to 100% win and the state had no case. Nick's children are just great and Nick is a great dad. And according to Barnes, the prosecutors at sentencing somehow completely exonerated Nick from doing anything wrong with the children.
