Why is Nick keeping April in a Ho-Hotel when the one he misses is Aaron?
To spite Aaron, because he broke up with him.

Cause being a sugar daddy is better than josh getting the tapes.
I thought she could help us with it, but after reading the MN Data Privacy FAQ it turns out she can only release the parts that show herself, so no Nick, no Kayla, no house in general, maybe the part where you see the drugs she was charged with. (Nightstand with credit card)

Giving her 6000$ would be a waste of money.

I’m sorry for the late live reaction to this, but I don’t even like Kurt. That segment, however, is particularly disgusting, because Rekieta essentially says that he always found it "soul-crushing" to be around Kurt. Yet, because he was "empathetic," he pretended to enjoy being around him, claiming that’s what true friends do...

What the heck.

Nick is slowly gaining the skinnier anatomy of a Regenerator. Only with way more crack and cocaine.

He thinks Slaanesh and the Dark Eldar are "hilarious."

Which, for him, makes a lot of sense. I am not a big WH40K person, but the impression I got from learning about them is they are both depraved and evil.
Slaanesh is the chaos god of lust and pride created by the decadent hedonism of the Eldar if I remember. Its all very on-brand for him.

I see people often mentioning that Nick's brain is fried from nitrous oxide so that must be why he is such a retard. I am here to say that this is not the case. I have done more nitrous than you could possibly imagine in my time since I used to be a full-time outdoor rave promoter and the NOS/other drugs were plenty. I know plenty of people who moved on from the rave scene to become very successful people. I also like to think that I am not a total retard.
So what I am trying to say is that the drugs did not make Nick a retard. Nick is a retard on drugs. There is a big difference

Isn't patent law one of the most lucrative legal fields? How much money is Kurt making off YouTube. He must be a shit lawyer if that's better than his previous career.
He was on the government end. It pays okay I suppose but it's not like actually litigating in private practice or being the VP of Intellectual Property for some big business.

Pretty much that although I don't know much about vodka sauce specifically. But if you cook with alcohol you almost never end up with any substantial amount. The only exception I can think of offhand is when you add sherry to lobster bisque right at the end (and usually at the table).
The only other exceptions I can think of are stuff like Rum Raisin Ice Cream and some Rum Cakes. Where the Rum is added after cooking. But the amount t of booze in them is trivial.

I've gone throught the process. It cost ~$7,000 for utility patents. Includes submitting a simple brief temporary patent, contracting to a designer to draw diagrams, getting your law clerk or paralegal to rewrite the description in a certain way, and filing through patent office within 1 year of temporary filing. Its easy work for the money, what your mostly paying for is experience.

Him mentioning that challenging the drug result is "nigh impossible".
And yet real lawyers do it every day. Thing is, there has to be something wrong with the test.

If the prosecution can't put on a witness who can testify as to the procedure, maintenance logs for any equipment used, etc. the case goes away.

Patent examiners are not required to be lawyers. To be a patent examiner, you only need a bachelor's in some STEM field or an assortment of coursework that the U.S. Patent and Trademark offices feels necessary to show sufficient technical ability. It's considered a "J.D.+" position in that you do not need a juris doctor or a law license to be a patent examiner, but the government tends to hire people with J.D.s because the work involves legal-adjacent analysis and skills.

In short, Kurt was not a patent lawyer, nor does he ever appear to be have been working an attorney role as his primary profession. He's still a licensed attorney, but he really seems to be pursuing legal more as a hobbyist than a vocation.
